Cardinal Domenico Battaglia of Naples wrote the foreword to a new Catholic book on transgender people, writing that “no one is excluded from the heart of God.”

Cardinal Battaglia Wants to Accompany Transvestites

Cardinal Domenico Battaglia, 63, of Naples, Italy, wrote the foreword to the book 'Transgender People'. He believes that the Church is called to "renew its gaze upon humanity".
The book deals with “complex and sensitive issues,” he writes. His examples are “gender dysphoria, transgender identities, and life experiences that do not conform to traditional models.” This raises “profound questions - including for the Church.”
Cardinal Battaglia proposes “a path not of condemnation, but of accompaniment”: “No one is excluded from God’s heart.”
And: “No life is foreign to the mystery of salvation.”
“Every person, every story - even those that seem distant or difficult to understand - carries within it the possibility of a revelation.”
The book “reminds us that behind ideas there are people. People whom we must encounter, listen to, and accompany.”

Dominic Auricchio says he first felt called to the priesthood at age 4, after a dream in which he says God spoke to him. Five years later, doctors discovered a mass in his brain. In 2023, Dominic says he had a vision of a woman he believes was the Virgin Mary, who told him everything would be OK. A subsequent scan showed the mass had begun to shrink, and surgery was no longer considered necessary. His mother believes God healed him. Medication may have contributed to the improvement. Now 13, Dominic remains active in his Catholic parish and says he hopes to join the Marines before pursuing the priesthood.

While most 4-year-olds were speaking to Elmo, Lil’ Dominic Auricchio was talking to the man upstairs. “I had a dream and God came to me,” the now 13-year-old recalled to The Post. “He told me to be a priest, and then I went into my mom’s bedroom . . . it was the middle of the night . . . and ever since then I’ve wanted to become a priest,” he said. The rising eighth-grader at Holy Trinity School in Westfield, NJ, has kept his commitment to the cloth — alongside other aspirations. Dominic Auricchio won the prestigious Cardinal Joseph Tobin Essay & Video Contest, with his entry about his divine encounters and how they inspired him to become a priest. Archdiocese of Newark “He came home one day and said, ‘I think I’m gonna be the first priest astronaut,'” his mom Maria recalled. “It’s now priest slash Marine. I want to become a Marine first and then join the priesthood,” said Dominic, whose father, Neal, is a Marine who served two tours in Iraq and was awarded the Purple Heart. Dominic …

Francisco-Bergoglio and the Synodal Manipulation of Saint Francis of Assisi

Recently reading the beautiful biography of Saint Francis of Assisi written by G. K. Chesterton, I was thinking about how we have been able to endure the disastrous pontificate of Francis. It is possible that the Lord sent him to test us in the faith and open our eyes, because truly the number and tenor of his demonstrations of a faith alien to the Catholic one have been horrific. Following the reading, I would like to comment here on how the first pope to take the name of the saint of Assisi manipulated his figure until making it unrecognizable, promoting everything contrary to what the saint of Assisi contributed, by the grace of God, to the Church. The fact that he already took the name makes it impossible for us to see as improvised how he manipulated the Saint’s work afterwards on repeated occasions; rather, it makes us realize that it was something programmatic. This, in a person of the crudeness of the Argentine pope, convinces me even more of something that has been on my mind …

If the author hadn't introduced his commentary by mentioning G.K. Chesterton's beautiful biography of St Francis, I probably would have scrolled on by this post and missed reading the excellent article from infovaticana.com. It's short and to-the-point. I recommend it. I also highly recommend G.K. Chesterton's work on St Francis to anyone who could use an energized and joyful boost to their faith and love of God.

Cardinal Burke Celebrated traditional Mass in Amsterdam

Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke celebrated a Pontifical High Mass according to the traditional Roman rite at the Church of Our Lady (Onze Lieve Vrouwekerk) on the Keizersgracht in Amsterdam on September 5.
Hundreds of Catholics attended and then processed through the Dutch capital to pray the Rosary publicly in Vondelpark.
Cardinal Willem Eijk of Utrecht and Bishop Jan Hendriks of Haarlem-Amsterdam were also present.
Floris van Rijn, 23, told Nd.nl that he had never previously experienced the traditional liturgy, “It took some getting used to, but it was beautiful,” he said.
Van Rijn described Cardinal Burke’s presence and the opportunity to attend the Mass as “a unique chance.”
In Vondelpark, hundreds gathered around the statue of the Blessed Virgin carried in the procession. Priests wearing purple stoles heard confessions outdoors while the Rosary was recited in multiple languages.
The prayers could be heard in English, German, Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian, Polish, Slovak, Latin …མང་བ།

Pope Leo XIV is willing to speak with Trump - but Trump has to make the call. In a July 3 interview with Piers Morgan, Louis Prevost, the pope’s older brother and an outspoken Trump supporter, said he had asked Leo XIV whether he’d speak to President Trump. Leo XIV replied: “Sure, if you want, but he has to call me.” Prevost explained: “That’s a Vatican rule. You have to request from the Pope. The Pope doesn’t go.”

In the 1980s, defectors from the communist bloc warned of a false liberalization and the breakup of the Warsaw Pact Alliance.

In the case of KGB defector Anatoliy Golitsyn, we have a man who was thoroughly maligned in the press and by the media. In the early 1980s he wrote a book about a coming deceptive liberalization in the USSR. And here is the thing nobody can dispute: Golitsyn’s 1984 predictions about the coming of a liberal Soviet leader came true. Even more impressive, his predictions about the collapse of the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact, with the Communist Party giving up power, also came true. Golitsyn warned that if the West was fooled by the false liberalization in Russia, the post-Cold War era would be one of Western disarmament. In that event, Russia and China would rearm and unite together into “one clenched fist.” The West would be unable to correct the resulting power imbalance.A Psychopath’s Dream: The Nuclear Option

Golitsyn's prediction about the fall of the Berlin Wall proves that JPII was not the great peacemaker he is often made out to be.

Love Others Enough To Tell Truth
The second reading emphasizes the obligation to love one another, a challenging task that requires charity. This love is demonstrated through the fulfillment of the offices of priest, prophet, and king, shared by all baptized individuals. The priest offers sacrifice and mediates, the prophet teaches God’s will, and the king serves, all with the ultimate goal of leading people to holiness and heaven.
Marriage and family life are designed by God to help individuals become saints through self-sacrifice, teaching, and prayer. Parents should teach their children through words and example, while spouses should point out each other’s faults in charity to help each other grow. Even single individuals can serve, pray, and offer sacrifices for others, fulfilling the priestly role in their own lives.

Regime Caught Deleting THIS After CRISIS EXPLODES
The CDC’s own website just quietly changed. Weeks after Pennsylvania reported the first US measles deaths of 2026 — one a newborn who tested positive for measles hours before dying — the specific sentence excluding those deaths from the count disappeared, replaced by a vaguer one. Today on ELLA: Black and Brown Women Disruptors in Healthcare and Beyond, Dr. Haydée Brown and Dr. Sonya Sloan trace what happened in between: newly confirmed CDC Director Dr. Erica Schwartz personally ordering the deaths excluded, reportedly at Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s request, while the agency’s own internal system keeps counting them as confirmed. Plus: what it cost Schwartz to walk away from an $850,000 job for “the mission,” 2026’s case count hitting 3,134 and already topping all of 2025, and the 1918 Philadelphia parade that offers an uncomfortable preview of what happens when public health truth gets sacrificed to political convenience. Saturday, September 6th, 1913: Mary Phagan Home For Girls Suggested, The Atlanta Journal
PAGE 2, COLUMN 3
A "Mary Phagan" home for working girls is suggested in a letter received Saturday morning by The Journal from one of its subscribers in Covington, Ga. The idea grew out of the agitation for the erection of a monument in memory of the little factory girl.
"Instead of an immense marble shaft," wrote the subscriber, "I would suggest a neat memorial at her grave and a home in Atlanta where working girls can board for a reasonable rate. This also would serve as a retreat for those out of work. I would have all conveniences for their comfort and a night school for those desiring instruction. In the vestibule, I would have a life-sized statue or portrait of Mary Phagan."

Don Curzio Nitoglia: Caveamus

I – THE “PRO DEO INFORMATION CENTER” (CIP)
Introduction
General William Donovan, Agent Morlion, and the "Pro Deo"
William Donovan (1883-1959), a U.S. Army general and secret agent who became head of the OSS during World War II, had secretly established a spy network with certain elements within the Vatican as early as 1941.
It was Donovan who recruited Frank Gigliotti and Father Morlion to prepare—in collaboration with the Mafia and Freemasonry, of which Gigliotti was a prominent and high-ranking member—the American landing in Sicily. As early as 1942, Donovan had contacted Mafia godfather Lucky Luciano (then imprisoned in New York) to facilitate contacts with the Sicilian Mafia, with the aim of ensuring the success of the landing and, above all, subsequently governing Sicily, and then all of Italy, "in complete peace and quiet." In short, much like the Camorra during the Risorgimento, led by Liborio Romano (Patù: 1793–1867)—a Freemason, Carbonaro since 1820, and head of the Camorra in …མང་བ།

Anti-Popes: Is the Chair of Peter Empty? Can We Have a Heretical Pope? Explaining the Faith Fr. Alar

Novenas are very powerful prayers because they are an intense and persevering form of prayer. But what makes the Divine Mercy Novena — which is prayed between Good Friday and the Saturday before Divine Mercy Sunday — different from all other Novenas? And why did Jesus give specific groups that He wanted to be brought to Him? Watch this latest episode of Living Divine Mercy as Fr. Chris Alar, MIC and Vinny Flynn discuss this powerful channel of grace. In this homily for the Feast of Saint Pius X, Fr. Chris Alar, MIC reflects on the saint’s strong rejection of Modernism and its weakening of objective truth. On Monday, January 8, 2024, we celebrate an incredibly important feast, the Baptism of Jesus, as described in the Gospels of Matthew, Mark, and Luke. Along with the Crucifixion, the Baptism is the event most accepted by scholars as indisputable historical fact. Father Chris Alar, MIC, explains what this means for us today. Then hear the story of Fr. Dustin Feddon of Joseph House, who …

Putin has always been a Soviet person, a Soviet functionary following a strategic blueprint passed down by the system’s collective leadership.

And Putin made no secret of his pro-Soviet inclinations. “Above all,” he said during his 2005 State of the Nation address, “we should acknowledge that the collapse of the Soviet Union was the greatest geopolitical catastrophe of the century.” Putin was famous for saying, “Anyone who doesn’t regret the passing of the Soviet Union has no heart. Anyone who wants it restored has no brains.” Putin has always been a furtive apologist for the communist regime (a regime that murdered tens of millions of innocent people). The communists killed priests, monks, farmers, intellectuals, aristocrats, and businessmen. If we look closely at the details of Putin’s career, we can see that he has always worked for the eventual restoration of the Soviet Union. It was always a matter of finding the right moment. The moment came, of course, with the Russian invasion of Ukraine and furious accusations that the West had betrayed Russia. According to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, Putin invaded Ukraine …མང་བ།
