GOD certainly is Great! This is just one of the many people I watch who help the poor, homeless, veterans and whomever they can. There are even some who mow lawns for those ready to face hundreds or thousands of dollars in fines. Ready to have their home taken and so many more of good people who really care for others. Thank you to everyone who came together to show David and his 3 children, LOVE. If it wasn’t for you, this wouldn’t be possible. You provided him the opportunity to work full-time jobs, donations to help provide his family a home, the funding to help support their transition and future, and lastly reminding David the power of HOPE. Lastly, thank you to Michael Rapino for reaching out and being willing to provide David a job to work with his team at Live Nation and helping ease his transition. Michael also has 3 children so this story deeply resonated with him, he texted me and was more than willing to offer a helping hand to David and his 3 children. Be kind and love always …More
Pope Pius XI denounced the socialist system as a “threatening danger that seeks to overthrow the Christian social order,” which “rejects the wisdom of the Gospel and resurrects paganism.”

He was one of the greatest missioners in the history of the Church. He used to preach to thousands in the open square of every city and town where the churches could not hold his listeners. So brilliant and holy was his eloquence that once when he gave a two weeks' mission in Rome, the Pope and College of Cardinals came to hear him. The shooting comes amid continuing concerns over gun violence at US schools. In August 2025, a gunman opened fire on children attending Mass at Annunciation Catholic School in Minneapolis, Minnesota, killing two students, aged eight and ten, and injuring 17 other people before taking his own life.
"Hence the desire for glory does not, of itself, denote a sin: but the desire for empty or vain glory denotes a sin: for it is sinful to desire anything vain, according to Ps. 4:3, "Why do you love vanity, and seek after lying?" Now glory may be called vain in three ways. First, on the part of the thing for which one seeks glory: as when a man seeks glory for that which is unworthy of glory, for instance when he seeks it for something frail and perishable: secondly, on the part of him from whom he seeks glory, for instance a man whose judgment is uncertain: thirdly, on the part of the man himself who seeks glory, for that he does not refer the desire of his own glory to a due end, such as God's honor, or the spiritual welfare of his neighbor." — St. Thomas Aquinas
Bishop Erik Varden of Trondheim, Norway, wrote on October 15 about the Vatican’s Amoris Laetitia conference. Regarding Holy Communion for adulterers, he stated: “Concerning ‘irregular’ relationships, I find our Catholic communities normally embrace these maturely and well. It can be liberating for persons in such situations to be in a setting where their ‘irregularity’ is acknowledged, not relativised.” He cited the allegedly “many” faithful he knows who seek a blessing at Communion Sunday after Sunday, aware they cannot receive the sacrament. Such prolonged “sacramental exile” can prepare a homecoming: “Christ gave us his rigorous commandments to educate us and to liberate us from ourselves.”

“We cannot continue with the Novus Ordo – we cannot,” Bishop Athanasius Schneider told the Catholic Herald on October 13. He denounced “serious doctrinal defects” and “very clear Protestant tendencies” in the new Mass. Praising the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) as a “work of Divine Providence,” he accused the Vatican of a partial “hostile takeover” by forces seeking to transform Catholicism into a religion adapted to modern fashions. He compared the Church’s current doctrinal and liturgical crisis to the exile of the Avignon Papacy.
Sunday, 17th August 1913: Employee Of Pencil Factory Furnishes Dramatic Incident Of Day-dressing Room Evidence Is Brought Out., The Atlanta Georgian The Atlanta Georgian, Sunday, 17th August 1913, PAGE 2, COLUMN 5. More than one hundred witnesses had been called to testify in defense of Leo M. Frank's character when the third week of the factory superintendent's trial concluded shortly after 1 o'clock Saturday. Character witnesses occupied most of the time during the four hours of Saturday's session. They displayed a remarkable loyalty to their employer, who is being tried on the charge of being the murderer of little Mary Phagan. Only one of the number, Miss Irene Jackson, gave testimony in any way prejudicial to the case of Frank. The character testimony, the tale of the finding of Mary Phagan's envelope and other so-called clews on the first floor of the factory by W. D. Mc Worth, Pinkerton operative, and the return of Mrs. Rae Frank, mother of the defendant, formed the important …More
Today, Leo XIV has appointed Monsignor Paolo Andreolli, until now auxiliary bishop of Belém, as the new Bishop of Ponta de Pedras, Brazil. Born in Italy in 1972, Andreolli is a Xaverian missionary who has worked in Brazil's Amazon region since 2007. He was consecrated auxiliary bishop of Belém on April 15, 2023. Footage of that consecration shows a ceremonial pagan gesture toward the end of the liturgy inside the cathedral. A man raises and shakes a ritual tool, a maracá-like rattle, over the newly consecrated bishop, performing an Indigenous-style ritual blessing. A globe representing the Earth is also presented. Earlier statements: In 2017, Bishop Andreolli referred to the Earth as “Mother Earth”. In another 2017 article, he praised the ultra-progressive bishops Erwin Kräutler and Pedro Casaldáliga as prophetic examples of commitment to human liberation. Andreolli served as a local organizer of the initiative ‘Church Towards COP30’, mobilizing Church organizations ahead of the UN …More
