Chiara Badano Chiara Badano (29 de octubre de 1971, Sassello, Italia - 7 de octubre de 1990, Ibidem) fue una adolescente italiana que actualmente se encuentra en proceso de ser pronunciada santa por la Iglesia católica. A la edad de nueve años se unió al Movimiento de los Focolares y recibió el apodo de "Luce" por su fundadora Chiara Lubich. A los 16 años se le diagnosticó osteosarcoma, Un tipo de cáncer óseo muy doloroso.
