How can we lay down on the bosom of Satan, a rebel against our Father, and not by association rebel against our Father? God himself tells us His sheep hear the voice of the Shepherd and follow Him. They do not hear the voice of a stranger.
Excellent explanation. IMHO........The issue, actually the MOUNTAIN, we need to climb is to get the VOTERS of Bexar County to 'give up' their convenience of having county wide voting. If no county wide voting, then no need for the electronic machines, NO INK POLL PADS, etc. paper ballots then would be the solution. But this is a HUGE MOUNTAIN to climb. Our society has become so accustomed to CONVENINCE we have become lazy voters. Willing to give up SECURITY for CONVENIENCE. the problem is once you give a person the option of convenience, they rarely convert back to a process that will require some self sacrifice. If the VOTERS are not willing to DEMAND the security of their vote, nothing will change.
Things many men never say out loud. There’s something people rarely talk about. How much weight a man often carries. Work. Bills. The house. The car. Providing for the family. Vacations for the kids. Making sure tomorrow is secure. It’s not always like this. But very often, the responsibility for holding everything together lands on his shoulders. And when things start to feel unstable, fear creeps in. Fear of losing his job. Fear of not having enough money. Fear of not being able to protect everything he’s built. Because when something falls apart, many men feel like they are the ones who failed. So questions start running through his mind—questions no one else hears: Can I handle this? Can I keep this family afloat? What if I lose everything? And still… he gets up in the morning. He goes to work. He does what needs to be done. And more often than not, he never tells anyone how heavy it really feels. Because from a young age, many men are taught one simple rule: Be strong. And so …More
Christianity in the Philippines When we talk about the arrival of Christianity in the Philippines in 1521, we are talking about a truly monumental moment in history, not just for the islands but for the entire story of the Church in Asia. This was the moment when the Gospel was publicly proclaimed on Philippine soil in a formal and liturgical way, through the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. It was not just an encounter between explorers and local communities. It was the beginning of the visible planting of the Catholic Faith in the archipelago. In 1521, the expedition led by Ferdinand Magellan arrived in the islands. At that time, the Philippines was not a single unified nation but a collection of communities with different cultures, languages, and religious practices. Some regions, especially in parts of Mindanao and nearby areas, had been influenced by Islam through trade and interaction. At the same time, many other communities still practiced indigenous religious traditions. So it is …More

World-renowned cancer biologist Thomas Seyfried, PhD, reveals that "we now have a mechanism by which antiparasitic drugs work." Professor Thomas Seyfried: "Mebendazole, fenbendazole. I researched it and wondered why antiparasitic drugs work against cancer cells, and it turns out that parasites use phosphorylation at the mitochondrial substrate level in the tissue... and mebendazole (fenbendazole) kills these parasites. So I tested it on the cancer cell, and it definitely acts on the mitochondrial substrate and glycolysis." Parasites rely on the EXACT same dysfunctional energy pathway as cancer cells, and these drugs don't care that cancer isn't a parasite.
HOW TO RESPECT YOURSELF 1. Stop holding on to people who don’t want to be in your life. 2. Don’t beg for attention. The right attention shows up on its own. 3. Speak clearly and directly. Confidence makes people listen. 4. Respond to disrespect with calm firmness — not emotion. 5. Don’t take advantage of someone’s kindness if you’re not willing to give it back. 6. Stay away from places where you’re treated like background noise. 7. Invest your time and money in yourself. It’s the one return that rarely fails. 8. Avoid toxic conversations. Not every discussion deserves your energy. 9. Choose your words carefully. They shape how others see you — and how you see yourself. 10. Take care of your body and mind. Self-care builds inner dignity. 11. Stay disciplined about your goals. Respect grows from consistency. 12. Protect your time. Not everyone deserves access to it. 13. Walk away from relationships where you’re belittled or ignored. 14. Allow yourself quality — in what you wear, …More
