I guess the Roman Catholic Church was wrong and disobedient then throughout most of her history. And all the Eastern Churches are wrong and disobedient for using various forms of intinction and spoons and forbidding Eastern Catholics from touching the Eucharist with their hands, too. Doctors of the Church, the Early Church Fathers, popes, saints, and encyclicals throughout most of the Church's history were wrong, because they interpreted receiving on the tongue or directly in the mouth as "taking". Well, in that case I'm glad we have the extremely wise and prudent and charitable @chris griffin here, on this online forum, to tell us what the saints and popes and Fathers of the Church and Doctors of the Church were too ignorant to teach us, and to tell us about how we are being prideful for insisting on not desecrating the Eucharist with our hands.
