A WhatsApp post by an Italian bishop’s secretary showing Pride flags as a swastika sparked media coverage, prompting explanations from the secretary and two responses from his bishop. The Italian city of Aosta held its third homosexual march on 26 September. That same day, Bishop Franco Lovignana’s secretary, Gilbert Turcotti, posted on his personal WhatsApp status a graphic showing four trans flags arranged to form a swastika. He accompanied it with the words “Questione di prospettiva…” (“A matter of perspective…”). Turcotti subsequently deleted the post. When GazzettaMatin.com contacted him about the image, Turcotti replied: “It seemed like a nice colourful design to me.” According to Bobine.tv, Turcotti said that he had deleted it because the day was over and repeated that he thought it was a colourful design. When the swastika was pointed out, he replied: “Well, look, sometimes, coincidence. I have nothing to say.” According to La Verità, the following evening Turcotti said that he …Ossotina

The Vatican will publish Pope Francis's diary from 1992 to 2024, edited and commented on by Cardinal Fernández, reportedly against his "will." Will it reveal what led him to push so many changes to the Church, from banning the Latin Mass to "blessings" for same-sex couples?
A 17-year-old Dutch girl was killed by euthanasia after doctors concluded that she was experiencing “unbearable and hopeless psychological suffering”. Milou Verhoof died on 2 October 2023 after suffering from mental-health problems for years and undergoing repeated treatments. Her case was later examined by the Netherlands’ Regional Euthanasia Review Committees, which found that the doctor had complied with the country’s legal requirements for euthanasia. Because Milou was 17, her parents had to be involved in the decision-making process, although Dutch law did not require their consent. Her parents ultimately supported her "decision". The case later drew objections from fourteen doctors, mostly psychiatrists, who asked prosecutors to examine aspects of her euthanasia, including questions about her capacity to decide and possible influence from those around her. The case returned to the Dutch courts in 2026 after Milou’s parents sought the identities of those critical doctors. In September …Ossotina

Dutch Auxiliary Bishop Rob Mutsaerts mocked claims of a Catholic “springtime” at the Catholic Identity Conference in Pittsburgh last weekend: “If I were beginning by saying, ‘My dear friends, everything is going splendidly,’ I suspect that you would immediately check whether I have been replaced by an employee of the communications department of the Vatican.” “Catholics today fall in two groups. There are those who think the Church is experiencing an unprecedented springtime and those who have actually looked at the statistics.”
Dutch Auxiliary Bishop Rob Mutsaerts of ’s-Hertogenbosch: “I do not have to spend very much time convincing this audience that there is a crisis. And indeed, if I were beginning by saying, ‘My dear friends, everything is going splendidly,’ I suspect that you would immediately check whether I have been replaced by an employee of the communications department of the Vatican. And perhaps this is already the first difficulty. Catholics today fall in two groups. There are those who think the Church is experiencing an unprecedented springtime and those who have actually looked at the statistics.”

A Hungarian priest has apologised after criticising Prime Minister Péter Magyar’s Tisza party and its supporters. Rev. Zoltán Osztie made the remarks during a Eucharist in Feldebrő on 26 September. He described Tisza as an “unbelieving, immoral and traitorous” political force. He added that Christians who vote for the party “understand nothing” of the Gospel. The Archdiocese of Esztergom-Budapest criticised the priest’s comments. It claimed insulting or labelling people because of their political views is not in line with Christian teaching. Church authorities formally warned Rev. Osztie and asked him to remove the video of the sermon from parish websites and social media. He was also told to avoid similar statements in the future. On 6 October, Rev. Osztie apologised to those who felt personally offended by his words. However, he did not withdraw his criticism of Tisza. He said he had intended to criticise a political worldview rather than individual people and maintained that, in his …Ossotina

German Bishops’ Conference president Bishop Heiner Wilmer says he will bring the “experiences” of homosexual couples to Rome for the Vatican’s Amoris Laetitia summit. Once again someone insisted that the people of Russia was forced to take the vax, wear masks and go into lock downs. After I debunked it already. Though fake news from the US and France I am posting tried to make Putin look like an evil leader who didn't force his people to do any of those things, he actually is a hero. I will leave both below after I explain a few things first. First I want to remind everyone that Putin is not just any leader who does nothing for his people or other countries. Putin does not go golfing for days and weeks at a time. I have posted many video's alone showing how he is constantly doing and going and meeting and greeting, not only his own people but leaders around the world. Giving away grain to poor countries and other aid. Just recently another nearly 50 tons to another African country. I have posted a few already in the past. And no one knows how Putin paid off Russia's dept and also PAID OFF UKRAINE'S AS WELL! Putin is extremely busy constantly on the …Ossotina

Pagan ritual during Eucharist in Canadian cathedral. On September 30, Notre-Dame Cathedral in Ottawa incorporated Indigenous ceremonial practices into a Eucharist. There was a purification or “smudging” rite at the beginning. Two Indigenous people approached the clergy in the sanctuary, including the bishop present, and fanned smoke from sacred plants (sweetgrass, cedar, sage and tobacco) toward them in a cleansing gesture. A four-directions prayer followed and the congregation turned to each direction before praying to “the Creator.” The Novus Ordo then continued. Feather rituals were also performed during the Prayers of the Faithful.

National Rally leader Marine Le Pen has been sentenced to 3 years in prison (2 of which are suspended) and fined €100,000 The remaining one year will be served under house arrest with an electronic bracelet. The court also reduced her political ineligibility from 5 years to 45 months (3.7 years), of which she has already served 30 months. Because Le Pen had already begun serving the disqualification from the initial ruling, the court ruled that the ineligibility period has been satisfied, making her eligible to run in France’s April 2027 presidential election. Le Pen has previously stated that she would not seek the presidency if forced to campaign while wearing an electronic ankle monitor.
Voting for abortion is a violation of the infallible dogma of the condemnation of abortion and results in the offender becoming a heretic from the Catholic Church.
