"Preserving the Liturgy Is Part of Preserving the Faith" – Bishop Schneider
"Preserving the precious treasure of the traditional liturgy is part of preserving the Deposit of Faith," Bishop Athanasius Schneider said in his homily on August 2 in Limerick, Ireland, at the Institute of Christ the King Sovereign Priest.
He is currently celebrating Mass and delivering talks in various locations across Ireland, including Cobh, Leixlip, Monaghan and Ardee. Previously, he was in Africa. In July, he led the golden jubilee celebrations of the Congregation of the Mothers and Missionaries of the Holy Cross in Puma, Tanzania.
Interfering with the Liturgy Destroys Religion
In Sunday's homily, Bishop Schneider recalled that "history has proved a thousand times that there is nothing more dangerous for a religion - nothing more likely to result in discontent, unrest, division, and apostasy - than interference with the liturgy and, consequently, with religious sensibility."

More gaslighting!
'Gaslighting' used in an accusation, however tempting or close to the truth, assigns guilt, however true it may be [or not]. so we should be careful and prudent Wouldn't we be better off sticking to the real problem (which is so old it's found in the conversation between Eve and the serpent), that of the weaponization of the dialectic? Dialectics of speech, conversation, thought, philosophy, reason, disputation, art, literature, and so on? Hence tradition, no? As the proverbs say [somewhere...help!] 'do not wander from the monuments your fathers set up'.
IOW, the structures of thought, if true, will produce sound results. Maybe we ought focus as a church, on that. I suppose we have though, yet it seems to be often hidden behind the subject at hand.

CARDINAL AND BISHOPS IN PAKISTAN SAY OUTSIDE THE CATHOLIC CHURCH THERE IS NO SALVATION ACCORDING TO VATICAN COUNCIL II INTERPRETED RATIONALLY.

The cardinals and bishops in Pakistan are saying outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation, according to Vatican Council II interpreted only rationally. Ad Gentes 7 is aligned with extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) of the Council of Florence 1442, and the Catechism of the Catholic Church 845-846, while LG 8, 14, 16, UR 3, NA 2, Gs 22 etc in Vatican Council II are not practical exceptions for AG 7, EENS, CCC 845-846 and the exclusivist ecclesiology of the Roman Missal at the Latin Mass.
The Catholic Church is compared, by St. Thomas Aquinas, to a ship in which all need to enter for salvation, similar to the Ark of Noah. This is the pre and post Conciliar teaching.
This teaching will be taught at the Catechetical Centers and educational institutions in Pakistan. This was the teaching over the centuries at Jesuit and Redempotorists educational institutions in Italy too.
Cardinal Joseph Coutts and Archbishop Benny Travas, the Archbishop of Karachi, Pakistan, have not denied reports on Gloria TV and ‘X’.
They say that Vatican Council II interpreted with the Rational and not Irrational Approach is traditional, dogmatic, ecclesiocentric and honest. The Council has no explicit exceptions for the Athanasius Creed, the Nicene Creed interpreted rationally. The ecclesiastical hierarchy in Pakistan has returned to the past ecclesiology of the Church.
