STANDFORD, HARVARD, OXFORD STILL DON’T KNOW THAT LG 16 IS INVISIBLE: RATZINGER’S SECRET
01.08.2026STANDFORD, HARVARD, OXFORD STILL DON’T KNOW THAT LG 16 IS INVISIBLE: RATZINGER’S SECRET
Archbishop Armando Trinidade, the archbishop of Lahore, Pakistan, studied at Stanford University. Archbishop Joseph Cordeiro, the archbishop of Karachi, studied at Oxford University. Bishop Anthony Lobo the former bishop of Rawalpindi-Islamabad studied at Harvard University. In skills and talent none of the bishops could equal Armando Trinidade.
But, none of them knew that LG 8, 14, 16, UR 3, NA 2, Gs 22 etc in Vatican Council II were always hypothetical and so were not practical exceptions for the ecclesiocentric ecclesiology of the Roman Missal of the Latin Mass. The limitations of a university education !
For them, Vatican Council II was a break with the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS).
LG 8, 14, 16 etc were physically visible and personally known non Catholics saved outside the Catholic Church, without faith and baptism. So LG etc became practical exceptions for the dogma EENS, the Athanasius Creed and the ecclesiology of the Roman Missal. Vatican Council II was a rupture with the ecumenism of return of the Syllabus of Pius IX. The Council was a new revelation, a new revolution in the Church. It was schismatic.
It was schismatic for the bishops and the nuncio in Pakistan.
I met the young bishop in Rawalpindi, a Vatican diplomat, fluent in many languages. I knew him earlier when he was a seminarian in Karachi. Vatican Council II was schismatic for him. This was his formation – but not for me, when I was studying there along with them.
I knew that the Church could not change the dogma EENS or get rid of it. I did not know at that time, that Rahner and Ratzinger did exactly this.
Some 25 years back in Pakistan, I held on to the dogma EENS and was finally asked to not study at the seminary. Vatican Council II was a break with the dogma EENS for the faculty at the seminary. LG 16 was visible for them- and for me. So I could not defend myself..
But at that time in Karachi, when I was living at the Lemmens Home, near the seminary, after my parents died, I did not know that LG 16 was invisible.I gave up my studies. Everyone was against me.But Our Lady was with me. I cannot describe it here. I was never alone.
It was at that time Bishop Anthony Lobo the bishop of Islamabad-Rawalpindi, who would not send his seminarians to study at the Karachi Major seminary, called me to teach Church History and English at the minor seminary in Rawalpindi.
So I taught at the minor seminary for six months. He then sent me to Rome along with a seminarian Brother Rashid, who is now a priest in the Rawalpindi diocese.
There was the same problem with EENS at the seminaries and university in Rome. I hung on to my faith knowing that a dogma could not be discarded or changed. Yet I could not explain Vatican Council II. It still did not make sense. Rashid continued with his studies 'I moved outside'.
Long story short, when I was sleeping outside the small church San Giuseppe a Capo le Case, near Piazza Spagna, Rome, in two cardboard cartons, I had an insight. It was a process over time. Everything became clear. There was no turning back. I knew then that LG 16 was always hypothetical and invisible. So how could it be a practical exception for EENS? Someone has to be there to be an exception. Only God can know if someone is saved in invincible ignorance or the baptism of desire. We don’t know of any particular case.
We do not know of any Good Thief( Dismas) today who is saved without the baptism of water. We don’t know if St. Emeriantina, received the baptism of water. We know she is a saint but no one has seen her in Heaven without the baptism of water.
At that time, Father Antonio, an Italian diocesan priest was the Rector at San Giuseppe a Capo le Case. The Religious Sisters at that church, my lifeline, would help me with my food and keep my blankets etc for me in the church. Down that road, where St. Teresa of Liseux lived with her parents when she visited Rome, is the basilica of Sant Andrea delle Fratte. I could watch it at night from my ‘vantage point’ on the front step of the massive, green door of the church. Father Andre and Father Gigi, were the good Italian Minim priests at that time at Sant Andrea delle Fratte. This was the church where Alphonse Ratisbonne had an apparition at the Altar of the Miracle.
For some time I would serve at the Altar of the Miracle which had a communion railk and a French Minim priest offered Mass in Italian at the 6 a.m, as I waited for the Sisters to open the church and give me my breakfast.
Finally, years of confusion on this subject ended. Loose ends were tied up. Vatican Council II would be aligned with Feeneyite EENS.It was not schismatic and had a continuity with Tradition.
This was not known to the bishops and teaching faculties in Pakistan. It was not known at Stanford, Oxford and Harvard University. Oxford University Press still publishes books on Vatican Council II interpreted irrationally and not rationally.
The Department of Theology at Jesuit Boston College, still does not know what is obvious , in the Faith, for the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, at the St. Benedict Center, in New Hampshire. They were correct on EENS now harmonized with Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.
When LG 16 is invisible, AG 7 is aligned with EENS, the Athanasius Creed, and an ecumenism of return to the Catholic Church of the Syllabus. The Council has no exceptions for AG 7, EENS, CCC 845-846 and the ecclesiology of the Roman Missal. It is the New Missal of Pope Paul VI, which is not Feeneyite on EENS.It is not ecclesiocentric.
