A new report from Students for Life of America’s Demetree Institute for Pro-Life Advancement has found that 114 Christian colleges and universities in the United States — more than one in seven — are supporting abortion in some way. The report found these Christian universities either backing abortion or maintaining some type of relationship with Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion company. The investigation, conducted for the fourth consecutive year during the 2024-2025 academic year, examined 725 institutions affiliated with Christ-centered denominations that publicly claim a historical Christian faith in their founding. Schools from denominations embracing a pro-abortion stance, such as the Disciples of Christ, United Church of Christ, Quaker, and Moravian, were excluded. The Canadian group Century Initiative is pushing the idea that it would be good for the nation to have a population of 100 million by the year 2100. "The Stranger" is a song by Gord Downie that makes up his multimedia work titled, The Secret Path which tells the very sad story of Indigenous 12-year-old boy Chanie Wenjak. The work is supported by a novel and a film. The story is that Chanie run away from a Canadian residential school. It was to get away from the disrespect and physical abuse. So, he decided to walk home, a 600 kilometre journey from where the school was located in Kenora, Ontario. The boy never made it because he died of hunger and the cold weather. His body was found near a railroad track on October 7, 1966. The song aims to point out the suffering, loneliness and fear experienced by the children who attended residential schools. An article in Juno News titled, "Teachers in Simcoe trained to keep gender & sexuality clubs secret from parents" has disturbing information for parents. It reports that the Simcoe County District School Board has in-serviced teachers on how to start student Gender and Sexuality Alliance Clubs (GSA). This is bad enough, but it gets much worse. Teachers are told that parents need not be informed about the training nor the resources used. Morality aside, is this even legal? For the school year 2024-2025, teachers were instructed to keep the so called "professional development" about GSAs private. The new rule being: “What is said in the meeting stays in the meeting.” It was all done with the goal of creating "safe spaces" for students. However, who are the so called "trusted staff advisors" allowed to start these clubs? Who decides what the club does? And why were parents kept in the dark?
