Schweiz: Selig sind die Friedensstifter – darum Ja zur Neutralitätsinitiative
Eine kritische Antwort auf die Stellungnahme von «Vox Ethica».
Wer heute in der Schweiz über die Neutralitätsinitiative spricht, spricht über eine Frage, die tief unter die Oberfläche der Tagespolitik reicht. Es geht nicht um die eine oder andere Sanktionsliste, nicht um die eine oder andere diplomatische Note. Es geht um die Frage, ob die Schweiz ein selbstbestimmter Akteur bleiben will – oder ob sie sich schleichend in ein Bündnissystem einfügt, das andere Interessen verfolgt als die ihren.
«Vox Ethica» hat am 26. August 2026 zu dieser Frage ein Papier vorgelegt, das sich das Gewand der christlichen Sozialethik umhängt.

Es ist eigentlich eine Schande dass wir Schweizer über die Neutralität abstimmen müssen. Die Schweizer Bundesverfassung ist klipp und klar. Br Klaus Worte ebenso.

A brief introduction to Benedictine Office
St Benedict of Norcia (480-547 AD) did not invent monastic life but organised it in his Rule. In chapters eight to twenty, and also chapters 43, 47, 52, 58 he gave detailed rules for the Ora part of the ‘Ora et Labora’ which Benedictines live by. Such concentration on detail is not surprising as he says ‘nihil operi Dei praeponatur’ (RB 43:3).

In sozialen Netzwerken verbreitet sich derzeit ein Video aus der Kirche St. Josef in Gelsenkirchen. Zu sehen ist kein Gottesdienst, sondern eine echte Sportfläche mit Tischtennisplatten und einem Basketballkorb. Das Kirchengebäude wird seit 2021 aufgrund ausbleibender Besucher nicht mehr regelmäßig sakral genutzt, sondern wurde entweiht und kulturell umgewidmet.
