LifeSiteNews.com Dismissed Editor-in-Chief John-Henry Westen
John-Henry Westen is no longer the CEO and Editor-in-Chief of LifeSiteNews.com.
LifeSiteNews's dismissal note was kind, as usual: "He is now on a well-earned sabbatical, spending valuable time with his family."
The company expressed "heartfelt gratitude" for Westen's many years of dedicated service to LifeSiteNews and the pro-life cause. "We wish him well during his sabbatical and ask for continued prayers for our organization as we move forward."
Journalist Edward Welsch addded on X.com: “Westen was removed by a 5-4 board vote, as a majority wanted to chart a new course for the site after the election of Leo XIV.”
Board of directors for LifeSiteNews include: Jeff Gunnerson, Royce Hood, Lisa Fischer, Dominic Ismert, Jim Hughes, John-Henry Westen and his friend and co-founder, Steve Jalsevac.
