Mel Gibson: Were the Los Angeles Fires Intentional?

Mel Gibson, 69, has criticised the states' management of the fires in Los Angeles. Speaking to Fox host Laura Ingraham, he took particular aim at California Governor Gavin Newsom: "Obviously some people didn't do their job, especially our leaders," he said.
Gibson questioned why certain security measures were not taken: "Is it intentional, which is a crazy thing to think. But you start to wonder, if there is a purpose. What could it be? I don't know. Do they want the state empty?"
Laura Ingraham responded that there are discussions about a possible redevelopment of the area, including denser living and fewer single-family homes.
