Beatification Process for Bishop who Allowed Indigenious Youths to Touch his Private Parts

On 22 May 2025, Leo XIV declared Bishop Alejandro Labaka (1920–1987) of Aguarico, Ecuador, a Venerable Servant of God. He was a missionary in the Amazon and lived among indigenous peoples. On 11 February, InfoVaticana.com published quotes from his diary.
Blessed Nudism
“Blessed nudism of the Huaorani, who do not need rags to safeguard their norms of natural morality!”
“They lived naked, and I too was often naked like them.”
“God has wished to preserve in this people the way of life, natural morality as in Paradise before sin.”
Homosexualized Coexistence with Youths
“I observed the ease, or rather the almost generalized practice as something ritual, of arousing one another among the males frequently… along with other games of a homosexual aspect in their long family gatherings.”
“Starting from their reality required me to bathe with them or like them, or in the presence of young people and children, with complete naturalness; intentionally to perform the full washing of an adult …Engeta

‘OUR LORD'S SERMON ON THE MOUNT’ by Augustine of Hippo Saint and Doctor of the Church; Book I; Chapter IV; points 11-12, pp. 7-8

, of which Isaiah speaks, seems to me to correspond to these stages and sentences. But there is a difference of order: for there the enumeration begins with the more excellent, but here with the inferior. For there it begins with wisdom, and closes with the fear of God: but "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." And therefore, if we reckon as it were in a gradually ascending series, there the fear of God is first, piety second, knowledge third, fortitude fourth, counsel fifth, understanding sixth, wisdom seventh. The fear of God corresponds to the humble, of whom it is here said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit," i.e. those not puffed up, not proud: to whom the apostle says, "Be not high-minded, but fear;" i.e. be not lifted …Engeta

In the first, just as ought to be the case, is placed the kingdom of heaven, which is the perfect and highest wisdom of the rational soul. Thus, therefore, it is said, "Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven:" as if it were said, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom."

Estimated Percentages of Gay Clergy

Estimates suggest that
over 60% of priests in religious orders, such as the Jesuits or Franciscans, may be gay, according to reports discussing the high, often closeted, numbers of LGBTQ+ individuals in the priesthood. While overall estimates for Catholic priests in the U.S. generally range from 30% to 40%, some sources indicate the number could be as high as 50% or more, with many remaining in the closet due to social pressures.
General Estimates: While some studies from the early 2000s and surveys suggest a range of 15% to 60%, many experts and researchers place the figure closer to 30%–40% for parish priests.
Religious Orders: Research, including analysis by writers such as Andrew Sullivan, suggests that the proportion of gay men in religious orders, like the Jesuits, is higher than that of diocesan priests, sometimes estimated at over 60%.
Context: The New York Times reported that while few priests come out publicly, a large percentage of clergy in the US are gay.

1 Corinthians 10:16-17 --The chalice of benediction, which we bless, is it not the communion of the blood of Christ ? And the bread, which we break, is it not the partaking of the body of the Lord ? For we, being many, are one bread, one body, all that partake of one bread.

We Catholics should thank our God every day that He has given us the faith that allows us to save our souls. God has an infinite love of the Mass because His Son is being offered up to Him. Its value is infinite.

Gov now has no chief of staff, Cabinet Secretary …

dailymail.co.uk

Who IS in charge of the clattering train? The Government now has no chief of staff, Cabinet Secretary or head of communications - and the Prime Minister's said to care more about the dress code at meetings than policies

Keir Starmer was accused on Thursday night of throwing another member of his top team under the bus to save his own skin.
As the turmoil in his floundering government deepened, the Prime Minister forced out Sir Chris Wormald barely a year after appointing him as head of Britain's civil service.
His dramatic move came hours after an extraordinary farce in which Downing Street would not say who held the Cabinet Secretary job.
In a sign of the chaos in No 10, the role was last night split between a trio of temporary incumbents.
And it means that, in less than a week, Sir Keir has lost three of the most senior people he has appointed, following the resignations of Chief of Staff Morgan McSweeney on Sunday and Director of Communications Tim Allan the following day.
Mr McSweeney was replaced by two temporary chiefs of staff, further swelling the number of decision makers.
The PM is facing mounting questions over who is running his government, plunged into disarray by the Mandelson scandal. …

FSSPX Will Publicly Reply in Next Few Days

The Priestly Fraternity of St. Pius X (FSSPX) has released a statement on the 12 February meeting between its Superior General, Fr Davide Pagliarani, and Cardinal Tucho Fernández.
"The conversation, which took place in an atmosphere that was both cordial and frank, lasted an hour and a half and was held one-on-one at the Cardinal’s request."
According to the statement, Fr Pagliarani clarified the intent behind the announcement of the episcopal consecrations on 1 July.
"For his part, Cardinal Fernández offered an alternative approach to the issue. In an official communiqué swiftly published by the Holy See, he proposed ‘a specifically theological path of dialogue, according to a very precise methodology […] to highlight the minimum necessary for full communion with the Catholic Church’, which would enable ‘the definition of a canonical status for the Society’."
The prior condition for the dialogue is the suspension of the decision regarding the announced episcopal consecrations.

"The dicastery stressed, however, that such discussions can only proceed if the SSPX suspends its planned episcopal consecrations, scheduled for July 1, 2026."
This implies the discussions will go past July 1. Which means the Vatican is stonewalling!

@Lisi Sterndorfer Of course this is true. Just see who he appoints bishop. All pro gay... His actions show more than his words.

Does the SSPX have enough priests to make new bishops?

They always say they're starving for new priests. What happens if they exhaust their clergy by consecrating up to a dozen new bishops?

Bishops make more priests. It's that simple :)

myunkie

I believe the SSPX is praying for more priests because the current, 700 or so, are stretched very thin to serve all the people seeking the Apostolic Faith. A dozen new bishops would increase that burden, but only slightly.

Archbishop Lefebvre 1976 Interview- The "CONCILIAR NEW CHURCH" and **Impossible Reconciliation with Schismatic Vatican II Council**

Interview with Archbishop Lefebvre in Écône, of August 2nd, 1976
From Communicantes: August - October 2002
Interview with Archbishop Lefebvre in Écône, of August 2nd, 1976 and published in the French magazine Le Figaro, August 4, 1976. It is important for us to read this text again.
---
Le Figaro: "After the suspension 'a divinis' which struck him (in 1976), Archbishop Lefebvre by no means considers to submit. He does not believe in the possibility of a reconciliation with Rome and risks the pronouncement of an excommunication against him and his disciples."
---
"Your Excellency, are you not bordering on schism?"
---
Archbishop Marcel Lefebvre: "That is the question that many Catholics ask after reading of the latest sanctions taken by Rome against us! Catholics, for the most part, define or imagine schism as a rupture with the Pope. They do not go any further in their investigation. You have ruptured with the Pope or the Pope has ruptured with you, therefore you are going into schism. …Engeta

Dr. Erica Komisar just said what many parents whisper but few say out loud: Modern schools are built for girls, not boys—and we’re paying a steep price. Little boys (ages 3–6) surge with testosterone. They need to run, jump, play, burn energy. Instead, we sit them in circle time, demand emotional regulation, and label normal boy behavior as ADHD or “behavioral problems.” Result? Marginalized, stressed, diagnosed early, and tracked that way through school. Her fix if she ran the world: Separate boys and girls in the early years. Boys get multiple recess periods, short focused bursts, and space to move. Girls get a calmer environment where they feel safe taking STEM/math risks. Both thrive when not forced into the opposite gender’s learning style. Single-gender early education: Boys try art/music without teasing. Girls try science without self-consciousness. Evidence already shows it works.
