Háromszázötven évvel ezelőtt, 1676. február 7-én született Isten szolgája, Mekhitár, akit VI. Pál pápa „az örmény egyház dicsőségének, az egység és a béke megteremtőjének” nevezett.[1] Az örmény történelem egyik legfényesebb lelki és kulturális újjászületésének megalapítójaként Mekhitár kitörölhetetlen nyomot hagyott népe hitén.
A Kis-Örményországban, Sebaste-ben (a mai Anatóliában, Sivas-ban) született Mekhitárt kora gyermekkorától kezdve a világi javaktól való elszakadásra nevelték. „A szevani kolostor Szűzanya bátorítására örömmel válaszolt az isteni hívásra, amely apostoli szolgálatra és tanúságtételre rendelte az Egyház egysége felé vezető nehéz úton.”[2]

The Armenian Tradition in Italy
Three hundred and fifty years ago, on February 7, 1676, the Servant of God Mekhitar was born—described by Pope Paul VI as “the glory of the Armenian Church, a maker of unity and peace.”[1] As the founder of one of the most luminous spiritual and cultural revivals in Armenian history, Mekhitar left an indelible mark on the faith of his people.
Born in Sebaste, in Lesser Armenia (present-day Sivas, in Anatolia), Mekhitar was educated from an early age in detachment from worldly possessions. “Encouraged by the Madonna of the monastery of Sevan, he joyfully answered the divine call, destined for an apostolic ministry and as a witness on the arduous path toward Church unity.”[2]
He entered the monastery of Surp Nshan (Holy Cross), where he embraced the monastic life and took the name Mekhitar, meaning “Comforter” in Armenian. Much has been said and written in recent times about the Doctrinal Declaration (DD) presented to Rome by Bishop Bernard Fellay on 15 April 2012 on behalf of the Society of St. Pius X.
Nevertheless, it seems to us that it would be important to make a detailed study of the text itself and the circumstances surrounding it. We will also compare it to other similar documents.
The following study of the document does not claim to be exhaustive. The only goal is to contribute to the search for truth and to open a frank and honest debate on the consequences of this text.
Furthermore, this study has become necessary in order to respond to all those who have recently taken up the defense of this Declaration—not only Bishop Fellay himself, but the other SSPX bishops, priests, and laity as well.

REX!: In August 2022 you have been consecrated a Bishop which means that you are now the seventh Bishop of the so-called “Resistance”. But let us start from the beginning. BpS: Yes, I was born in a Catholic family already in the times of the Novus Ordo. The post-conciliar Church in Poland was very conservative compared to the West, but I was never an altar boy at the New Mass, nor did I belong to any post-conciliar groups. I wasn't interested in it at all. In retrospect, I see that there was God's finger in it. A tavaly április 17-i prédikációm ellenére sokan meg fogtok lepődni, amikor megtudjátok, hogy távozom. Remélem tehát, hogy ezek a sorok világosabban megmutatják azokat az okokat, amelyek miatt távozom.

Dear brethren, This letter is to notify you of my decision to leave the Society of St. Piux X. In spite of my sermon on April 17th last, many of you will be surprised to learn of my departure. I hope then that these lines will show more clearly the reasons why I am leaving.
I would like to say first that I did not wish that my sermon of April 17th be published urbi et orbi and that I myself did all I could to prevent its diffusion. I was preaching merely for the chapel of Montreal, that portion of the Lord’s flock entrusted to me by my superior. With that said, the Lord has willed that it be otherwise. Blessed be his Holy Name!

Covid-diktatúra) iránti kritikus viszonyulása többnyire együtt járt az Egyház-ellenes külső és belső romboló hatalmakkal szembeni egészséges kritikus viszonyulásával. Ezért helyesnek láttam lehetőséget biztosítani mindezen katolikus hívőkkel összefogva a Szentháromság, Nagyasszonyunk és Szent István Apostol-Király segítségével szervezett formában együtt szolgálni felebarátaink és az Egyház javát.

THE END OF WAITING? Bishop Pierre Roy, Ecclesial Authority, and the Question Traditional Catholicism Can No Longer Avoid
Introduction
In a lengthy and widely discussed interview on Church and State, Bishop Pierre Roy, superior of the Mission Notre-Dame de Joie in Eastern Canada, articulated a position that has unsettled traditional Catholic circles not because it is rash, but because it names—without euphemism—the question many have learned not to ask.
If the Holy See has been vacant for generations, is waiting itself now functioning as an ecclesiology? And if so, can such a posture still claim fidelity to a Church that is visible, indefectible, and divinely constituted?
Bishop Roy does not present himself as a conclavist, nor as a self-appointed restorer of order. He insists repeatedly on restraint, universality, and submission once the Church speaks. Yet he refuses to sanctify inertia. His intervention exposes a fault line running through traditional Catholicism: the uneasy coexistence of emergency measures and permanent delay.
