No Freedom To Insult Religion: On board of the plane that brought him from Sri Lanka to the Philippines Pope Francis commented on freedom of expression referring to the French defamation magazine Charlie Hebdo. Quote: “One is not allowed to insult the faith of others.” Francis referred to Mister Gasbarri, the responsible for the organization of the Apostolic Journey who was standing next to him, saying: “If Mister Gasbarri who is a big friend of mine says a bad word against my mother, then he must be ready to receive a punch.”
Same-sex-marriage cannot be tolerated: 95-year-old archbishop Emeritus José de Jesús Pimiento Rodriguez of Manizales, Columbia, is among those who will be made Cardinals on February 14. On January 11th he gave an interview to the Columbian weekly Semana. To the question what he things about same-sex-marriage, Pimiento said: “Same-sex-marriage is a union that can be tolerated, but it is no marriage.”

Pope Francis is my hero. Make this man a saint now!
By Mesfin Fekadu
Elton John called Pope Francis “my hero” for his compassion and push to accept gays in the Catholic church at his annual AIDS benefit.
John hosted the event, “An Enduring Vision: A Benefit for the Elton John AIDS Foundation,” Tuesday night in New York City, which raised $3.7 million. He said Francis is pushing boundaries in the church and told the crowd: “Make this man a saint now, OK?”

Apologizing for the Truth: Catholic journalist Michael Voris has profusely apologized for having truthfully reported last weekend about Cardinal Burke’s truthful statement that the Pope was harming the Church by not speaking out openly about the crazy ideas floating around in the Synod. Voris apologized for having given the impression that he – Voris – was criticizing the Pope. But Gloria.tv believes that Voris has now to apologize for giving the impression that defending the Pope is in contradiction with speaking the truth.
No Role Model: The number of British Anglicans has halved in the last 50 years from 65 to 31 per cent. In the same period the number of British Catholics grew slightly from 8,6 to 9,1 percent. The Anglicans will still dramatically bleed in the future as among the Brits below 24 only 14 per cent identified as Anglican. The crazy thing: A big number of Catholic bishops and even the Bishop of Rome seem to believe that the Church …
In Voris's defense, he has over the years brought the truth out in the open for all to see and hear.. Scandalous bishops, renegade priests & nuns, Even cardinals. He has helped tremendously in exposing the rot that has infiltrated our church for the past 50 yrs. the liberal clergy, disobedient to the pope(s) but in 'good standing', would love to destroy Voris because he exposes these very same clergy and their agendas.
Don't fall for what the dissenters and destroyers of our church would want you to do. How many people out there do what Voris has done in exposing the filth and speaking the truth, all the while getting persecuted. Yes, persecuted!
Was that why he was elected?

I must admit I still don't understand Francis. Is he the greatest thing since unsliced bread, a cunning old Jesuit, a conservative, a trad, a prophet, a fool or even the anti-Christ; a breath of fresh-air or the stench from the tomb of those rather detestable men who surrounded the Blessed Paul VI and added to his suffering?
I have never done the Benedict through Francis thing at least, but neither am I convinced of the Francis against Benedict thing entirely. I am still perplexed and confused by him. Perhaps it is in Francis who rather than being an Emperor who is wearing no clothes we actually have clothes with no Emperor. I mean those morning homilies that come out of the marble halls of Sta Martha that are full of barbs but actually teach nothing. Perhaps we should expect nothing!
It is worth remembering that what many of the Cardinals were calling for before the Conclave was a de-centralised Church and greater Collegiality. The BBC, …
At this point Any pope who would stand up for our Catholic Tradition and had no problem living and defending it, would be in danger...he'd be made to be silent.. One way or the other. As he'd have such a powerful force doing whatever it took to overtake him.
The enemy is strong and many.
08:00REEL ANSWERS: Bishop Fellay & The Outlaw Josey Wales.
Critics of Bishop Bernard Fellay argue that he should 'sign a deal' of SSPX regularization with the Vatican ASAP. But after what the Vatican just did to the Franciscan Friars of the Immaculate, others aren't so sure. This clip from The Outlaw Josey Wales may help convince Fellay's critics to chill out.
Only God can and will restore the Church to its traditional beauty. IMHO, no pope would be able to survive his papacy if the SSPX were to be 'regularized' (or tried to be). One doesn't need to go to Rome to learn this, isn't there enough evidence and proof from what we Catholics have had and still endure from so many faithless priests, bishops and cardinals?
I hope Bishop Fellay truly listens to the Holy Ghost...that his prayer life can be in communion with God for the bishop's understanding in what God wills and no one else.

Bishop Attacks Popes: In a memorandum leaked to the media, Bishop Johan Bonny of Antwerpen, Belgium, has accused Paul VI and John Paul II for allegedly having disrespected the collegiality of the bishops. Bonny is angry at Paul VI because he published the encyclical letter Humanae vitae which forbids artificial contraception and at John Paul II for having published Familiaris Consortio. Bonny has been a close collaborator of the ultra liberal German Cardinal Walter Kasper. He believes that Pope Francis is on his side.
Meeting: Bishop Bernard Fellay, the superior general of the Priestly Society of Saint Pius X will meet on September 21st with the prefect of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller. During his time as a bishop of Regensburg, Germany, Müller was a pronounced enemy of the SSPX and showed little understanding for the faithful of the old rite.
Conflict: Bishop Vitus Huonder of Chur, Switzerland …
I doubt with Frances as pope, the SSPX stands a chance. The liberal enemies are plenty and Frances prefers the modernist debacle of a 'mass'.

Dead: Tony Palmer, the Protestant preacher who enjoyed a privileged relationship with Pope Francis, has died after a motorcycle accident in the U.K. Palmer was a – quotation marks - bishop in a group called the Communion of Evangelical Episcopal Churches. He gained notoriety this January after Pope Francis received him for a long private meeting and suggested that Palmer would record him on his iPhone for a video message for some Prosperity Gospel Conference. Palmer died on Sunday after hours of surgery.
Not Acceptable: On Vatican Radio the Apostolic Nuncio in Tel Aviv, archbishop Giuseppe Lazzarotto, has strongly criticized the Israeli military action against Gaza, a territory, Israel has kept under blockade and occupation for decades. Quote: “The situation really becomes tragic. There is a loss of human lives that is not acceptable.” So far Israel has killed more than 500 people, most of them civilians and children. Yesterday an Israeli tank …
Where do we see leaders of countries condemning the persecution of Christians? The Kenyan in the White House could care less. The press and media are hardly covering these atrocities. The Jews could care less, .. In the mean time...Catholic churches are being torn down or sold (even to Muslims). And mosques continue to sprout up everywhere in an alarming rate.
