Kurz vor dem Christopher Street Day (CSD) in Köln sind an mehreren Kirchen im Stadtgebiet Regenbogenfahnen abgerissen worden. Wie der Kölner "Express" am Dienstag berichtet, wurden Fahnen in den Stadtteilen Weiden, Lövenich und Lindenthal abgerissen.
Betroffen ist unter anderem die katholische Kirche am Krieler Dömchen. Dort hat der Jugendchor St. Stephan seinen Sitz. Gemeinsam mit dem zuständigen Pfarrer hatten Sängerinnen und Sänger das Symbol der LGBTQI-Bewegung gehisst. "Es ist sicher kein Zufall, dass die Fahnen genau in der CSD-Woche abgerissen wurden", sagte Chorleiter Michael Kokott der Zeitung. Er beklagte: "Leider ist es inzwischen gang und gäbe, den Widerwillen mit dieser Form der Kritik zu zeigen."
