An Oklahoma Democrat leader proposed a bill last week to force boys to get vasectomies in protest of legislation that protects unborn babies from abortion.
Townhall reports Oklahoma House Minority Whip Mickey Dollens, D-Oklahoma City, said he suggested the “crazy” vasectomy bill to make a point about how “ridiculous” it is to ban abortions.
“I would invite you to co-author a bill that I’m considering next year that would mandate that each male, when they reach puberty, get a mandatory vasectomy that’s only reversible when they reach the point of financial and emotional stability,” Dollens said last week after the Oklahoma legislature passed a bill to ban abortions in the state.
