This photograph was taken during a Christian baptism in Brazil.
At the exact moment water was poured over the child’s head, the falling droplets briefly aligned into the shape of a rosary. The camera captured a fraction of a second that would normally pass unnoticed, recording the moment as it happened.
Baptism is a public act, representing cleansing, rebirth, and commitment. A rosary is traditionally associated with prayer, repetition, and devotion. In this image, both appear together—not through planning, but through timing.
The photograph itself does not interpret the moment. It does not assign meaning or intention. It simply documents what occurred in front of the lens.
And yet, many people pause longer on this image than expected, as if something about the alignment feels heavier than coincidence, even without explanation.
When moments like this happen without design, what do you think gives them meaning—the event itself, or the way we respond to it?

I believe that is an ai. Here is the real picture taken years ago. Back in 2010. Because she was a single mom, people were mocking her and the picture. People can be very cruel and thoughtless.

Feast of the Baptism of the Lord | Do you want to rise with us from the depths of an abyss?
In Jesus' time, many religious sects practiced baptism. The rite had many meanings, but one was of particular importance: (their past life was erased, as if swept away by the current) and with the immersion came the birth of a new man to whom, naturally, a new name was given.
John performed this ceremony to welcome all those who wanted to become his disciples. He baptized those who decided to change their lives to prepare for the coming of the Messiah, announced as imminent. The first condition for receiving baptism was to recognize oneself as a sinner; it was for this reason that the Pharisees and Sadducees, who considered themselves righteous and without sin, felt they did not need it.
If this was the meaning of John's baptism, it is not clear why Jesus received it; He did not need to change his life, and his …Mais

Eu ainda acho ela linda.

5 Fun Facts About Pope Leo XIV Told by His Brother
John Prevost, the older brother of Pope Leo XIV, gave an interview on December 17th to the American media outlet National Catholic Reporter.
Between arguments over the family car, memories of childhood dinners, and a passion for football, this testimony sheds a unique light on the journey of the man who is now at the head of the Church.
In the Pope's private life. On May 8, 2025, when Leo XIV appeared on the Loggia balcony, few people knew him. Many journalists quickly tried to paint his portrait, gathering information here and there. But in recent months, it has undoubtedly been the new pope's family members who have revealed the most about him. First and foremost, John Prevost, Robert Prevost's older brother. He spoke on December 17, 2025, with the National Catholic Reporter to talk about his childhood alongside the future pope. From this interview emerged some interesting anecdotes about Leo XIV:

Peace is not passive.
It is a conscious choice.
Not every emotional invitation is ours to accept.
Not every story requires our participation.
Not every pull into intensity is truth.
Drama feeds on reactivity.
Peace grows in presence.
I share more about stepping out of the drama triangle, learning to say no without fear, and choosing what we allow into our sacred space in a new blog post on Facebook.

Hail Holy Queen
Hail, Holy Queen, Mother of Mercy,
our life, our sweetness, and our hope.
To you we cry, poor banished children of Eve,
to you we send up our sighs, mourning and weeping
in this valley of tears.
Turn then, most gracious advocate,
your eyes of mercy toward us.
And after this our exile,
show unto us the blessed fruit of your womb, Jesus.
O clement, O loving, O sweet Virgin Mary.

That's beautiful, but remember when the Blessed Virgin appeared to the children at Fatima? They said she was very sad.

MOTHER MARY
The Mother of Our heart. Her love beyond measure to all

Mother Mary of Christmas
I know not how, dear Lady love,
To offer you my praise,
I cannot fashion as I wish
The words that I world raise.
You stand afar, celestial Queen,
The stars are in your crown,
They spangle at each gesture's path
And dust upon your gown.
Perhaps I might recall the night
You knelt beside the crib,
The night when doors and casements shut
And left a mountain's rib,
Alone, exposed, to hoard you close
Beside the new-born Child
And seek in Joseph's kindly eyes
For something worldly-mild.
To counteract such mundane chill
I hereby set my heart,
Dim mirror of an Infant's warmth,
Its flaming but a part,
A small, beautiful softness and gentle part of Endless Love
That came on Christmas day
To show a Mother wonder-bright
To guide us on our way.

Proclamation of the Gospel of Jesus Christ according to Saint Matthew (2:1-12 - The Visit of the Magi):
1 After Jesus was born in Bethlehem in Judea, during the time of King Herod, Magi from the east came to Jerusalem 2 and asked, “Where is the one who has been born king of the Jews? We saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” 3 When King Herod heard this, he was disturbed, and all Jerusalem with him. 4 When he had called together all the chief priests and teachers of the law, he asked them where the Messiah was to be born. 5 “In Bethlehem in Judea,” they replied, “for this is what the prophet has written: 6 ‘But you, Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for out of you will come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’” 7 Then Herod secretly called the Magi and found out from them the exact time the star had appeared. 8 He sent them to Bethlehem and said, “Go and search carefully for the child. As soon as you find him …Mais

On this day, January 3rd, the Church celebrates the Most Holy Name of Jesus!
The celebration was established eight days after the birth of Christ, when he was circumcised and named Jesus. Despite its origins being as old as Christianity itself, the devotion to the name of Jesus developed primarily from the 12th and 13th centuries onwards. The first references to devotion to the "Holy Name" can be found in the texts of Saint Anselm of Canterbury (1109) and Saint Bernard of Clairvaux (1153).
However, the great "Apostle" of devotion to the Most Holy Name of Jesus is Saint Bernardino of Siena (1444). This Franciscan priest traveled throughout Italy preaching devotion to the name of Jesus, often as a means of reconciling rival families and factions.
Saint Bernardino used to preach holding a tablet with the monogram IHS, formed by the first three letters of the name of Jesus in Greek (Iota-Epsilon-Sigma).
Later, the abbreviation was also interpreted as the Latin acronym "Jesus Hominum Salvator …Mais

así como fueron llamados a una misma esperanza en su vocación;
un solo Señor, una sola fe, un solo bautismo;
