In Rome - The Triumph of "Transgender" Identity
Photo ~ A funeral for Andrea Quintero, a Colombian transgendered and homeless person beaten to death in Rome, was celebrated Dec. 27 in the Church of the Gesù
If anyone wants an example of what the emphasis on mercy under Pope Francis looks like in action, they’ll find one this afternoon in Rome at the Church of the Gesù, the mother church of the pope’s Jesuit order, where a funeral will be celebrated for a Colombian transgendered and homeless person beaten to death five months ago.
Andrea Quintero, a homeless "transgender" man left his family in Colombia a few years back. He then drifted to Rome, where he lived on the streets, struggled with addiction and became something of a fixture around the Termini train station. He died in July, the victim of a beating. His family made no move to claim his body. As NCR reports:
Jesuit Fr. Giovanni La Manna, director of the Centro Astalli, said the funeral is intended not only to mourn Quintero’s …
So disappointed that you have fallen for the politically correct term, "transgendered". There is no such thing.

LOL, it reminds me of something out of Star Trek.
Buddha-like Rendition of former Jesuit General
A one-ton granite statue of the liberal Jesuit Father Pedro Arrupe, the 28th superior general of the Society of Jesus, University of San Francisco in March is part of the university’s Pedro Arrupe Week celebration. The life-sized statue is based on a well-known photograph of Fr Arrupe kneeling in prayer. It was carved in China under the direction of Jesuit Father Tom Lucas, university professor of Art and Architecture. Arrupe died on 5 February 1991 in his 84th year.

You people are always trying to stir up trouble. I don't like the Jesuits either. They have perhaps done more damage to the post conciliar Church than any other order. But, this statue is a likeness of how Fr. Arrupe lowered himself before the Holy Father himself, John Paul II as a posture of submission.
Why Cardinal Wuerl Will Not Deny Communion to Anyone
Flashback: Why Cardinal Wuerl Will Not Deny Communion to Nancy Pelosi or Basically Anyone
Mar 1, 2012
Recently a priest in the diocese of Washington (DC) denied a lesbian communion, and the diocese released a public letter apologizing to her. It has left many wondering if any person at all is barred from Holy Communion when they are under the pastoral hand of Cardinal Wuerl. The answer is lies in the Cardinal’s – then Archbishop – words regarding Nancy Pelosi and communion.
Bishop Wuerl said he disagreed with refraining from giving communion to manifestly pro-abortion politicians:
“We never – the Church just didn’t use Communion this way. It wasn’t a part of the way we do things, and it wasn’t a way we convinced Catholic politicians to appropriate the faith and live it and apply it; the challenge has always been to convince people.’’ On the other hand, sanctioning Catholics tends to alienate them, he said.
Wuerl said he will make no …
This is why I will never read his recent book on the Blessed Sacrament. How can he really believe in the true Presence if he is unwilling to protect it from Sacrilege?
