Bishop Richard Williamson has consecrated English Father Paul Morgan and Polish Father Michal Stobnicki as bishops in a secret (!) ceremony, reports Riposte-Catholique.fr (May 23). Stobnicki is a former PiusX district superior. Since Williamson was expelled from PiusX in 2012, he has now consecrated eight bishops, including Faure (2015), Dom Thomas Aquinas (2016), Zendejas (2017) and Ballini (2021). The latter's consecration was kept secret for two years.

Cardinals Marx Wants More Problems: Homosexual Priests
Munich Cardinal Reinhard Marx favours the ordination of homosexuals to the priesthood (press conference, January 27).
Seminarians do not have to admit being homosexual but if they do so, they should be respected because being homosexual "is not a restriction on his ability to become a priest,” he alleged. Marx expects homosexuals, like all priests, to not engage in sexual acts. He considers homosexuality “unlike some confreres in the episcopate” not as an obstacle to priestly ordination.

California wants to force priests to violate the seal of confession
SACRAMENTO, California, February 22, 2019 (LifeSiteNews) -- California state Sen. Jerry Hill introduced a bill this week to compel Catholic priests to violate the sacramental seal of confession in cases of suspected child neglect or abuse.
While priests and other clergy are already mandatory reporters in California, there remains a legal exemption for matters revealed in confession. Hill introduced Bill 360 in the state senate on Wednesday. In an accompanying statement, the Democrat declared, “Individuals who harm children or are suspected of harming children must be reported so a timely investigation by law enforcement can occur.”

Vatican media expert Fr. Rosica admits to plagiarism, blames interns

Majority of US Bishops Would [Invalidly] Ordain Women
More than half of the US bishops would "ordain" female deacons in their diocese if the Holy See would approve such an abuse, a January 22 study found.
At the same time, "only" 41 percent of bishops [erroneously] believe that the Church has conferred them the power to do so. One-third of the bishops said that the Church should come up with deaconesses.
The study was issued by the “Center for Applied Research in the Apostolate” at Georgetown University. 192 bishops were asked, 108 responded.

Arab Christians clash violently with police in Haifa over ‘McJesus’ sculpture
Hundreds of Arab Christian demonstrators clashed with police in Haifa on Friday over a museum’s display of a sculpture depicting Ronald McDonald, the mascot of the fast-food giant, on a cross, amid calls to remove the artwork that some have called offensive.
Police said a few hundred protesters tried to force their way into the Haifa Museum of Art during the demonstration and that three officers were injured by rocks hurled at them.
An investigation was opened to identify the rock-throwers, and a 32-year-old resident of the city was arrested on suspicion of attacking officers.
