Many Catholics are reluctant to witness about their faith. We have an image in our minds of those who go door to door and tell people that they are going to hell unless they come to their church. This is far from what Catholics do. To witness for Jesus is to tell your story of how Jesus has entered into your life and helped you.
It could be a life changing event where the person discovered the Mercy of God in Confession, or just a simple prayer. One made that really changed their life. It might be a time when they were baptized and they felt God’s presence in a profound way. It might be something a good friend or a child said. Or, it could be an experience in serving the poor. It might be an answered prayer or even an unanswered prayer. It is a time to reflect on God’s goodness in your life and sharing in that joy.
You do not have to be an expert on theology or the Bible in order to give witness to Jesus and …

ProLifeCorner – Freeport, Il – 10-25-2014 – by Staff –The Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Mother of Christ, are pleased to present a brief tour of the building which will house the Madonna Renewal Center. Some of the restoration has been completed already; for example, the roof has been replaced and the grounds have been restored to their beauty. While much has been accomplished, there is still much work to be done. See and hear where the Sisters currently are in their project.

The Crisis of the Church is a Crisis of Bishops: Argentina Mockery and Scandal in the Cathedral
The baptism of baby Umma Azul, the daughter of one member of a lesbian "couple" civilly "married" in Argentina took place this Saturday in the Cathedral of Córdoba (previous post on the matter here). The President of the Argentine Republic, Mrs. Cristina Fernández de Kirchner, was not present, but sent some gifts by way of a representative.
On the previous day, the Archbishop of Córdoba, Carlos Ñáñez, had said that the ladies finally were not going to be confirmed, but that the baptism would happen since it was "the right of the child," and that this whole problem had been caused by the "manipulation of the media". He also said he had informed Cardinal Cañizares Llovera, Prefect for Divine Worship and the Discipline of the Sacraments, so that the Holy See was kept "informed" of the situation (source: Infocatólica).

Argentines Catholics believe Bishop Ñáñez belongs to the gay lobby
Even after the lesbian couple Karina Villarruel and Soledad Ortiz expressed open opposition to teaching the faith to the child thus violating the requirements of the Code of Canon Law they were still allowed to hold the ceremony of baptism. They also said they considered the ceremony an achievement of the gay lobby as a right they are due. The ceremony allowed the lesbians the ability to finish the ceremony with the demonstration and the exaltation of sin of homosexuality by lesbian kisses inside the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Assumption - Cordoba. This is blatant actions where they gay couple are mocking the laws of God.
Argentines Catholics outraged are praying to God that Bishop Ñáñez receive the Divine punishment he deserves. The survey shows that they believe Bishop Ñáñez belongs to the gay lobby.

Judgment against Austrian Pro-Lifers.
On April 4, the single judge Erik Nauta, of the regional court of Graz, sentenced four pro-lifers to high penalties for stalking.
They are charged with having repeatedly stalked the Graz-based abortionist, Johannes Hanfstingl.
Judge Nauta also convicted the Austrian director of the pro-life organization Human Life International, Dietmar Fischer, for stalking in Graz – although the latter works in Vienna not Graz. His fine is 180 daily rates of 40 euros each totaling 7.200 euros. ($10,000.00 US Dollars)
Furthermore, the two activists who offered help on the sidewalks and one woman who worked as a consultant were sentenced to fines between 450 and 840 euros. ($600.00 - $1200.00 USD)
