I blame Vatican II. This once again is open desecration of the Most Blessed Sacrament. It does not matter where you are from we cannot allow abuses like this to happen. Pray for them. Dominus Vobiscum
This is terrible, the thurible can be used by anyone trained to do so. these girls need to grow up. The Archconfraternity of St Stephen allows girls to serve but this kind of nonsensical squabling should have been sorted out by their MC
The Canon states that it is dependant upon the rule of the local ordinary. The Archconfraternity of St Stephen admits girls and they can be a great help at the altar and show due reverence to The Most Holy Blessed Sacrament. There is no reason that a female would not be able to anything that a male altar server cannot do. There is no persona Christi here and therefore no need to refuse girls the great privilege of serving at The Most Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. Dominus Vobiscum
Yes they certainly do. the Archconfraternity of St Stephen, exists in the UK to promote excellence in altar serving and supports vocations. Many the Lord who has started this good work in these boys, bring it to completion. Deo Gratis for altar servers. St Stephen, pray for us
thereof and wherein are hardly ancient words. This translation seems to be dumbing down the words. Should the Bible be in everyday language? Well it is not something that is everyday ordinary, it is the extraordinary. We need to understand, but we also need to learn. We need to read the Bible on many different levels, spiritually and intellectually, this means we need to change our perceptions, not that of the Word of God. Translations should be as close to the original language as grammar allows. We should not translate the, eg, Greek into English then translate the English into common (peasant) English. It should be left so that we can study the true meaning of what is said because it is close. The KJV is a prime example of these heretics taking hold of bible and making it truly un-understandable! Only Bibles that have the blessings from Rome should be read by Catholics. Dominus Vobiscum
What choir is this. They are really good! Keep up the good work, more Latin like this with the english underneath will make the Church turn back to the good old days. well done
We should also remember that as catholics we should 'love the sinner and hate the sin'. The homosexuality problem is most certainly a problem today and is a perversion of the meaning of sex. We can defeat this problem not with videos like this but with prayer and rationality.God Bless +
Deo Gratis It should also be noted that St Stephen is also the Patron of Altar Servers who celebrate his feast on the 26th of December. St Stephen, Pray for us
