Leo XIV Declares the Just War Theory Again as "Outdated"
Today, Leo XIV touched on the concept of a just war. During the flight from Rome to Madrid, he told Franca Giansoldati that “there is no just war” in Iran.
Leo XIV pointed to his encyclical “Magnifica Humanitas”, which says that just war theory is “now outdated.
Today, he repeated: "I think this has already been made very clear: the notion of a just war no longer applies. The problem is that just war theory developed in centuries when no one could have imagined the weapons we have today or humanity's capacity for destruction."
Leo XIV made “overcoming the theory of the ‘just war'” one of the themes of the June 26-27 summit of cardinals he convened at the Vatican.

This could be seen as a justification for "pre-emptive" war then. Get 'em before you're nuked.
Curious only one politician seems to be targeted with Leo's critique.
Who? I didn't catch that. But let us pretend it is Trump. Then I would say it is a staged play between the Zionist/US faction and the Bolshevik/Progressive faction.
Just another modern pope in the line of many modern popes. I am hopeful we will have a Catholic one sometime soon but I am not holding my breath!
@SonoftheChurch Thanks for the encouragement brother! I think it will take a miracle now. A divine astonishing reversal! God bless you!
Remember: the first war, which was a just one, was Saint Michael against Lucifer!
And if this homosexual activist who defies God and worships Pachamama believes the Church is wrong, why should we believe that Prevost is right?
