Tucho Fernández on FSSPX: "In Future, Dialogue Will Be Possible"

The Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X (FSSPX) "didn't consider useful the dialogue we've proposed", Cardinal Tucho Fernández, soft porn author and Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, told @Michael Haynes on X.com.

Tucho added: "But we hope in future, thanks to the action of the Holy Spirit, it'll be possible. I'm sure, but we'll need time."

Whatever.

If they're excommunicated, they will no longer be under his jurisdiction. They'll fall under the jurisdiction of the dicastery for Christian unity, or whatever it's called.

I had wondered how Rome would respond to the Consecrations. The early sabre rattling calmed in the last couple of exchanges. Certainly grace has a hand. Rome, so far, is allowing Cannon Law to speak for itself, i.e. excommunication of the six bishops is "latae sententiae", automatic with no trial or even notification. No more ruffling of feathers, no open war. The strong statements by Rome would only make people look into the reasons which would benefit the SSPX. This seems like a declaration of peace (for now).

I sincerely pray that Tucho will have that dialogue and through the careful and sincere reasoning of the SSPX will repent. He, like I, has sinned, but the greater sin falls to those who formed him so poorly as to think his actions in the Synodal Church are not a source of grave, eternal condemnation.

What does this pornographer know about the “Holy Spirit”? What could he possibly know? 😡
