PAPAL DECREE BANNING CLERGY FROM ROTARY CLUB MEMBERSHIP
On January 11, 1951, The Vatican issued a Decree banning "members of the clergy" from belonging to a Rotary club association. According to the Decree, lay people are permitted to join as long as they adhere to the provisions set forth in Canon Law, butpriests are explicitly forbidden from belonging to Rotary or participating in their meetings. The WILD VOICE continues to research this, but to the best of our knowledge at this time the Decree has never been officially lifted, rescinded or annulled. The point is, according to this Papal Decree, it would appear that Bergoglio was not in good standing with the Church since 1999, and therefore should have, at the very least, recused himself from both the Conclave and consideration prior to the conclave which resulted in his 'election'. Given that a number of his peers may likely have been unaware of his status would, it seems to me, clearly place the validity of his election in doubt.
And now a honorary member of Buenos Aires rotary club has taken over the Holy See. I think things are pretty clear. Now who's saying that this guy is the pope?
Yould should accept him as the pope otherwise you excummunicate yourself from the Catholic Church.
You should not accept any of his acts, instructions etc. that are against the teaching of the Catholic Church.
Maybe canonically this is not accurate but the meaning is correct, I hope.

@charisma so basically you're saying that we should accept Judas as pope. Bergoglio the only pope in history to proclaimed to the world that our Holy Mother wasn’t born a saint, that Jesus didn’t multiply the fish and loaves, first "pope" to declare that ANY religion can take you to God and priests should bless gay couples... I am sorry charisma but that thinking is not good. Beware of false prophets, by their fruits you shall know them said Jesus... if those fruits or acts I just mentioned above are not enough for you to know he is a false prophet, therefore, not a true pope but the contrary of it, uf such fruits still doesn’t open your eyes charisma then good luck and blessings.
@Boanerges Boanerges , @yuca2111 I did not say he is a good pope. I do know all the bad things he said and done to our Mother Church. I fully agree with you on all you listed.
I said he was elected and he is still the pope. If you are not in unity with the pope than you excommunicate yourself from the Church. Beware of non-canonical behavior.

So he does bad things to the Church and yet you excommunicate yourself by not being in unity with someone who does bad things to the Church? Do you realize how ridiculous that sounds?

This is the problem with false prophets... you align with them and your good says @charisma tell that to every german soldier who followed their orders and align with the fuhrer... where they are now? They belong as the trash of history.

Oh you should align yourself to the "pope" even if he's a bad one... NO thanks!!! Did St Athanasius align with the arian pope, and he was a really bad pope for sure, he excommunicated st Athanasius, yet the atian pope isnt remembered and Athanasius became a Saint and Doctor of the Church.
Charisma, if you or any other wants to jump off the bridge for this pope, even though were telling you not... then go ahead and jump, follow your false prophet.

Here below is the full text of the Papal Decree issued on January 11, 1951.
Papal Decree – Pope Pius XII
Jan 11, 1951
First published in Osservatore Romano, Vatican City daily
(English translation below by the Archdiocese of Chicago)
"The Supreme Sacred Congregation of the Holy Office: a decree. Wednesday, Dec. 20, 1950.
"The question has been asked of this Supreme Sacred Congregation whether Catholics may be members of the association commonly called "the Rotary club."
After ascertaining the opinion of the Reverend Fathers Consultors, Their Eminences the Cardinals, charged with safeguarding faith and morals, decreed in their plenary meeting of Wednesday, Dec. 20, 1950 as follows:
Members of the clergy may not belong to a Rotary club association or take part in its meetings; laymen are to be urged to observe the provisions of Canon 684 of Canon Law.
And on the 26th of the same month and year, His Holiness Pope Pius XII approved the resolution and ordered it published, after hearing it in an audience granted to His Excellency the Assessor of the Holy Office.
Given in Rome at the offices of the Holy Office on Jan. 11, 1951.
