Restaurant Church: Snack For "Poor" in Assisi Basilica

Francis was airlifted on November 12 to Assisi to talk and pray in the Basilica of St Mary of the Angels with "poor," immigrants, and unemployed.

In order to push for State financed mass-immigration, his show included an Afghan immigrant who pleaded emotionally to help his two sons and two daughters to get into Italy as well.

A Spaniard recounted in the style of the known black-and-white life story about how from drug dealer and gang leader he became a convert in the Charismatic Movement. On other occasions, Francis has poured his scorn over those who convert people to the Church.

According to VaticanNews.va, the meeting was followed by a half-hour break during which those present were offered a "hearty snack". In the Catholic religion, it is forbidden to eat in churches out of respect to God's presence.

Mathew15".If your brother sins against you"go to him and show him ,his fault .But do it privately ,just between yourselves .If he listens to you ,you have won your brother back ,But if he will not listen to you,take one or two other persons with you ,so that every accusation may be upheld by the testemony of two or more witnesses as the scripture says ,.And if he will not listen to them ,then the whole thing to the church.Finally if he will not listen to the church,treat him as though he were a pagan or a tax collector .Some Cardinals and others have tried with no avail

Strange how El Francesco isn't allowing the same open borders to the Vatican City that he pleads for Italy. Typical "limousine liberal".

It is not strange once one realizes just how small the Vatican really is. Just to get an idea, the Vatican is so small it is surrounded by three city of Rome; it is smaller than the average university and encompasses a mere 104 acres. Compared to Italy it is a tiny speck within the tiny dot you see of Rome on a map of Italy. It is 1/8th the size of Central Park in NYC. Pope Francis is simply addressing a humanitarian crisis, reminding secular governments that a humanitarian crisis cannot simply be ignored. As it is, the Mediterranean Sea has become a virtual graveyard for thousands of people fleeing war-torn areas.

@thomasvalle
Yes, Vatican is tiny and has tiny (less than 100 years) history.

That is dasacralising the sacred.
They never do it in modernist temples, but in classical ones. Because the modern ones are already desacralised.

Jesus, food of angels,
Monarch of the heart;
Oh, that I could never
From Thy Face depart!
Yes, Thou ever dwellest
Here for love of me,
Hidden Thou remainest,
God of Majesty.
