Go start your own post for an interview with Pope Francis. Quit trying to hijack another post for your own site-shilling content @KristianKeller

Speaking of interviews, here is one that many probably missed: Antipope Francis' Bombshell Interview

Holy Cannoli

Yet another jerk chimes in.

You are really a foolish person to judge me based on exposing truth about heresies of Francis.
What an arrogant fool you are.

Can't stop laughing.

Benedict kept "the spiritual dimension" of the papacy

Ultraviolet

Technically, Lifesite news misquoted Benedict. He was careful to separate himself -from- the papacy and not to bifurcate it. ;-)
He sees his "spiritual mandate" as something from God and it remains separate from the office of the Papacy itself. Since Canon Law defines the Papacy in terms of office, the "munus" Benedict's supporters endlessly brought up, this should have been the last word.
As Monsignor Bux's prevarications in the article prove (and the author notes), "As becomes clear here, the scholarly discussion concerning Pope Benedict's concept of his resignation is not yet closed."
Nor will it be, ever. I've said as much any number of times. The only resignation Benedict's supporters will ever accept is the one he didn't give. No matter what else the man says, no matter how many times he repeats he resigned the Papacy, they will always pick at his words trying to show how he supposedly didn't "truly" fulfill "all" the requirements. Or, in the Monsignor's case, how Benedict is allegedly still retaining "some" element of Papal power.
There's some comedy in LifeSite News "reaching out" to a Monsignor to argue against a Pope's renunciation of power-while trying to argue that he somehow retains it -even against his own repeatedly statements to the contrary.
So Benedict XVI must be obeyed because he is Pope, right up until he says he resigns. Then he must be contradicted by the laity and various former subordinates year after year -all trying to force him to resume the very authority they already refuse to accept in the first place.
These people see themselves as "kingmakers", where they decide when the Pope speaks authoritatively on his own status and when he doesn't. Respect for the "office", much less for the man who once held it, plays no part in their decisions.
They've turned Benedict into exactly the sort of puppet-figure they routinely accuse Francis of doing, even to the extent of puttting words in the man's mouth with a misleading article title.
This is, what? The third or fourth time Benedict said he resigned? And it's still not good enough for them.

Ultraviolet I have admonished you publically numerous times for being uneducated on the subject of papal crisis and thereby formulating wrong assertions and contradictions to pope Benedict's XVI decision. In fact you are so overwhelmed by pride that you put your own false ideas into his mouth. This all being for the reason of you not willing to understand the purpose of dialogue/debate, disregarding scientific method of the process, unwilling to educate yourself (misunderstanding the nature of Petrine Office) and obvious inability to use Catholic philosophy to analyse and truly reason the extra ordinary situation which God permitted to occur. Finally, you are doing a great disservice to youself and others by devaluating the Vicar of Christ - earthly monarch - pope Benedict XVI and leading others astray...
