n today’s Saint Story for Kids, we learn about Saint Theophilus the Lawyer, also known as Theophilus Scholasticus, a man whose life changed completely through a miracle of faith. Saint Theophilus lived in the 4th century in Caesarea in Cappadocia (modern-day Turkey). He was a lawyer who doubted the Christian faith. According to tradition, he mocked Saint Dorothea, a young Christian martyr. Before her death, she promised him roses and fruit from Heaven. When this miracle happened, Theophilus believed, was baptised, and later gave his life for Jesus as a martyr.
