WHITE SMOKE 1958 –78– CONCOMITANCE

It is worth noting that two events of the utmost importance took place in 1958, events in which General de Gaulle played a dominant role.

The first was the establishment of the Fifth Republic in France, the eldest daughter of the Church, and whose architect was none other than de Gaulle: this took place on 13 May, the anniversary of the first apparition of the Blessed Virgin at Fátima.

The second, which took place in October, led to the establishment of the conciliar era: this was the famous conclave where, as mentioned above, De Gaulle—he again—took a role that might at first glance appear secondary but which in fact carried considerable weight in the fraudulent election of the first intruder.

Could these two concurrent events foreshadow a concurrent end to the Fifth Republic and the conciliar regime?
