Trump Defends Francis' [Not] Handling of the Abuse Crisis

Speaking to the Daily Caller (September 5) U.S. President Donald Trump mentioned the homosexual crisis in the Church claiming that “the Pope is handling it, I guess, the best anyone can handle it.”

Trump claimed that the abuse scandal dated back 70 years although it exploded in the aftermath of Second Vatican Council. He called this “one of the sadder stories because I respect so much the Catholic Church”.

Francis accused Trump in 2016 of “only building walls” adding that such people are not Christians. In May 2017 Francis received Trump in an audience. Trump called this the “honour of a lifetime”.

Through his embassies which fly gay flags and officially participate in gay marches, Trump is one of the leading promoters of the gay ideology in the world which is at the root of the homosexual abuses in the Church.

If someone doesn’t like Trump, that’s their perogative. And unless you have facts on the statements and accusations you make, your best off remaining silent or until proven. You don’t have to like him, but what matters is that he’s working for the good of the American people., unlike the previous 8 yrs +.

The "homosexual crisis" in the Catholic Church lies totally at the feet of the hierarchy (read: homoarchy) of the Catholic Church. Period.
President Trump didn't permit homos to enter seminaries. He didn't ordain them and he didn't appoint them to the episcopacy. Nor did Donald Trump cover up for them and reassign them when their crimes were manifested. No, it wasn't Donald Trump who for decades covered for these malevolent bags of filth.
Take a wild guess who did permit the homo scandal to enter and foul the Catholic Church?
Catholic Cardinals, bishops, priests and even Catholic popes are the ones responsible for the lack of sanctity, the lack of honesty and the lack of honor that once characterized the Catholic Church. The scandal continues with daily scandalous revelations. As a result, the Catholic Church is rightly seen world wide as the breeding ground of sexual deviates, their episcopal enablers and an ever diminishing remnant who are hanging on by the thinnest of threads.
Don't blame President Trump who has been in office for 20 months for the decay that has been occurring in the Catholic Church for well over 20 years.

It suggests POTUS isn't giving the matter much attention, he should as Francis sees himself as leader of world progressivism, not Catholicism as our ancestors understood.
