Fr. Altman is NOT Jesus, nor is he an Old Testament Prophet. He is a Priest of Holy Mother Church under the full and immediate authority of his Bishop, unto whom he owes absolute obedience in the fulfillment of his priestly VOW. If he intends to further his usefulness in the cause of our Lord Jesus Christ during this time of great darkness and unparalleled evil, he MUST emulate the righteousness of untold numbers of Holy Saints and even Doctors of the Church - who cast themselves at the feet of The Blessed Mother and placed themselves under her protective Mantle as they yielded to the unjust edicts and persecution of their superiors - and humble himself in silent obedience to the commands of his Bishop.
There is just NO WAY around it: he is not a “Free Man” with the liberty, independence and autonomy to say and do whatever he wills or pleases. He gave all that up when he took on the constraining vows of his priesthood. Regardless of the unfairness of his Bishop’s actions, Fr. Altman has no grounds upon which to rebel against the orders given him. If he is truly innocent and in the right, he must trust the Lord to fight for him, and wait in patient submission and obedience for the Lord’s vindication. Otherwise he cannot expect Heaven to intervene and stand with him in his defense.
In this epic struggle that we face throughout the whole Church, there is no room whatsoever for exalted attitudes of self aggrandizement and the fleshly promotion of ones own ambitions and personal or political agenda. There is no room for any such foolishness on the frontlines of this battle for the souls of men. No, we must instead marshal all of the SPIRITUAL weapons imparted unto us by Our Lord Jesus and join with Him and the Host of Heaven against the demonic forces seeking to ravish the Church and obliterate her holy mission. To be victorious in this battle we need Heaven on our side.
Thus, Fr. Altman must know that he cannot hope to obtain recourse from Our Lady and find favor from her for his cause, if he doesn’t turn from his rebellion and repent in penance for his stubborn insubordination and the impertinence he has shown in his refusal to OBEY the authority of those whom the Church has deemed it proper to place in rulership over him.
We do not need the chaotic destruction of a narcissistic “Loose Cannon” at the forefront of this fight. Nor do we need any Hollywood-style Superstar-type Priests who, in their prideful self-exaltation, use their voice and influence to incite the rabid ferver of those seeking to advance certain political platforms and agendas.

When your Bishop supports a government that suppresses the Holy Mass the Priest is right to speak out. Jesus swept the moneylenders from the Temple. The Bishops and Cardinals of the USA are a disgrace to their robes. Most are the spawn of Satan.

I just thought I would point out that when St Padre Pio was restrained from saying Mass publicly and he complied, it was false accusations from a jealous woman against his morals that had been made that caused him to be sent into confinement since they became confused about his known piety. There was never any question as to whether or not he was teaching the Truth. Church Legal Authorities doubted there was any Stigmata as was claimed, and they thought the situation wasn't good! In a way they quite RIGHTLY silenced him until they discovered him to be innocent and a holy warrior of God - and they had feared him to be set on forming a mini cult and was not a virtuous monk..
They try to accuse Fr Altman of being either too holy or being divisive for telling the Truth. The Cowardice of his Bishop since the Bishop is embarrassed by all this attention, is the REAL sin! Fr Altman quite rightly causes a stir, revealing ALL that Christ seeks to enlighten us with including those facts nobody mentions any longer, the moral absolutes, that New Church seek to push under the carpet so the likes of James Martin can convert people instead ! You don't need a Church Tribunal to state that Fr Altman preaches Truth & need not resign., He is not accused (as St Pio had unjustly been) of lack of virtue. Fr Altman's morality is not questioned - some just do not like hearing Truth taught. May Christ support Him as he speaks Truth.

Being with Christ, as a bona fide member of His Church, means obeying the chain of command, especially when you've taken a vow of obedience to do so.

False! Tearing down altars, writing books promoting gay unions, extravagant beach houses to practice those unions, etc. etc. all cost money. None of these are free. Where do you propose the money comes from, thin air?
