Fisichella and Ruffini agree that Lumen Gentium 16 refers to an invisible and not visible case in 2026.So Cardinal Fernandez made a mistake in the Vigano case. He condemned Archbishop Vigano based upon Vatican Council II irrational. LG 16 was visible and not invisible for the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, Vatican.
With LG 16 visible there are exceptions for the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus and so Tradition is made obsolete. But with LG 16 invisible there are no exceptions in Vatican Council II for the dogma EENS. With Ad Gentes 7, Vatican Council II is aligned with the dogma EENS and hypothetical cases of LG 8, 14, 16 etc are not objective examples of salvation outside the Church in the present times. So Fernandez’ liberalism is heresy and schism and a mortal sin of faith.
With Vatican Council II irrational Fernandez is in schism while with Vatican Council II, rational, Brother Andre Marie micm, the Prior of the Slaves of the Immaculate Heart of Mary at the St. Benedict Center in New Hampshire, USA, is traditional and orthodox.
The laicized Arlington Discalced Carmelite Sisters in Texas, USA could demand that the Prefect of the DDF, Cardinal Fernandez, be a Catholic. How can he laicize the Sisters when he does not interpret Vatican Council II and the Catechism of the Catholic Church rationally and traditionally?
He is in public schism on the Athanasius Creed but Brother Andre Marie is not. The latter does not project visible exceptions of the baptism of desire for the Athanasius Creed.
I am not against Cardinal Fernandez. The question could also be asked also, how can Archbishop Rino Fisichella hold his office at the Dicastery for the New Evangelization, when he knows that LG 16 is invisible but in all his books he has interpreted LG 16 as being visible ?
