@Billy F Yes! In Father Copkynzksi's sermon on our Lady he points out why the Israelites failed in all their endeavors. Because they either did not have the ark yet, when Moses was on the mountain,. Or afterward they did not go into battle with the ark! This is very important typology, sadly missed by many! Of course God hide the ark from the Israelites to make way for the True Ark of the covenent! God bless you!
