Cardinal Sarah: Francis Is A Solid Pope
God has given to the Church “solid popes” to prepare it for the current situation of a world drowning in a fatal confusion, Cardinal Robert Sarah told ValeursActuelles.com (March 27).
Sarah praises all recent popes:
“God has given us Paul VI, who defended the life and true love with the encyclical Humanae vitae, despite a very strong opposition.
He gave us John Paul II, who worked on a marriage between faith and reason in order that they be the light that guides the world towards a true vision of man - the very life of the great Polish Pope was a living Gospel.
He gave us Benedict XVI, who put together a teaching of unparalleled clarity, depth and precision.
Today, he gives us Francis who literally wants to save Christian humanism.”

Humanism is not Christianity.
Sarah to Poland: "You are first Poles, Catholics, and then Europeans." Don't "sacrifice the first two identities on the altar of technocratic and stateless" EU who "does not anymore protect her peoples, serves "financial powers." Poland's "singular mission" is work for God.
Sarah on Holy Mass: "Lex orandi, lex credendi." Without Faith, the "Mass turns into a spectacle, a folkloric event, and the faithful turn away." "We have wanted to humanize the Mass, to render it understandable, but it remains a mystery which is beyond comprehension."
Perhaps a closer reading is in order. Look carefully at what he praises and is silent on. No praise for V2?! Although I’m not a fan of Paul VI he did give us a mostly sound document with HV.
Cardinal Sarah is only speaking truth when he said of him: “Today, he gives us Francis who literally wants to save Christian humanism.”
The Cardinal knows that humanism is not Christian as it places all thinking and works centrally toward man and not God. Humanism is not concerned with man’s ultimate destiny - his salvation - even if the language used is dressed up as Christian humanism - there is no such thing. That is the thing Bergoglio is trying to save.
Or I may be completely wrong. If I am, my apologies.
To think so many people think this guy is a good bishop. No Cardinal Sarah, the Church is drowning in a fatal confusion. The world has always been drowning.

So this means one of the last defenders of truth is gone. I really had great trust in Cdl Sarah and I’m very sorry to read this. Who is left now, after Schneider’s groveling last week? Is Burke still out there?
