The SSPX bishops choose the Irrational Premise and not the Rational Premise and the popes from Paul VI to Leo have done the same. Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernandez keeps this a secret. He does not inform the traditionalists.
He seems afraid. The mainline Catholic Church will become traditionalist once again when the Creeds, Councils and Catechisms are interpreted with only the Rational Premise.
It is Vatican Council II ( AG 7) which says outside the Catholic Church there is no salvation, the issue is not just the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS), the Athanasius Creed and the old catechisms. Ad Gentes 7 which says all need faith and baptism for salvation is placed in the Catechism of the Catholic Church (846) under the title Outside the Church No Salvation.
This is the Conciliar teaching of the Conciliar Church affirming the exclusivist ecclesiology and so there is no place for Amoris Laetitia, Traditionis Custode and Fiducia Supplicans, all interpreted with the irrational interpretation of Vatican Council II. There can only be an ecumenism of return to the Catholic Church (AG 7).
Vatican Council II, rational, with AG 7 not contradicted by LG 16, takes the Catholic Church to pre-Vatican Council II times.
There is no new moral theology when Vatican Council II is interpreted rationally and not irrationally. The Church returns to traditional faith, morals and ecclesiocentric mission and evangelization.
We have identified the Rahner - LG 16 visible, mistake. With LG 16 hypothetical, theoretical and physically invisible, the whole Church returns to Tradition. There is no break with the missionaries and magisterium of the 16th century on EENS. Vatican Council II is aligned with EENS as it was known to St. Francis Xavier and St. Robert Bellarmine.
It means the ordination of the SSPX bishops on July1 is not an issue (when LG 16 is invisible). They will be as traditional as the bishops consecrated by Pope Leo, since the Council is no more liberal. The traditionalist-liberal division is finished. It has no foundation in Vatican Council II. It emerges only in Vatican Council II, irrational, created with the Irrational Premise. The Irrational Premise creates schism irrespective if the person is a liberal or conservative.
Cardinal Cupich and Cardinal Sean O Malley know that Vatican Council II interpreted rationally is an alternative. So they are obliged to change. They were informed about this at a meeting held in Chicago a few years back. It was organized by Michael Sean Winters and the key speaker was Massimo Faggioli.
So continuing to interpret Vatican Council II irrationally after being informed is dishonesty.- Lionel Andrades
