The Rise of Bergoglianism

The Rise of Bergoglianism
Written by Christopher A. Ferrara
A caution to the reader: What follows is a very harsh assessment of the current pontificate. I felt compelled to write it, but no one is compelled to read it. I am nothing and nobody in the great scheme of things, although I am privileged to contribute to the record of a venerable traditional Catholic journal that will surely have its place in the history of these times. I have no illusions that my little lamentations will have any effect on the Pope, for whom I pray each day, or on events in the Church. But at least I, at least The Remnant, at least traditionalists in general will be able say one day, concerning what was done to the Bride of Christ, “Not us. Not us.”

Here is an inescapable truth that ought to trouble every Catholic: Francis is the first Pope in the history of the Church to be universally lauded by “the rulers of the world of this darkness… the spirits of wickedness in the high places.” (Eph. 6:12) Even Barack …More

Yes rhemes, I read it as well at the remnant, and felt the very same way. He didn't seem to be demeaning or snide to the Holy Father in the least. I have seen articles that are. I was saddened by the article only in the fact that it was truthful. And yes, there are so many Catholics that really don't know what to make of the current Papacy, as he is causing extreme confusion. He sounds solid one minute and then backtracks the next, however, I have read a couple of good articles on the way modernists operate, and confusion is very typical. Steve Skojek has a good article out on the way modernists work. I believe the name is: 'Modernists are tricky, that's kind of the point.'
And yes, there are a ton of people who are very solid Catholics who seem to be in a state of denial. At least that's the way I see it. I would urge people to pray for the Holy Father, and pray for the Church, and the only prayer I would add to yours is:
'Jesus We Trust In You.'

I read this entire article over at the Remnant Newspaper.
Straight away, you can see the author of the article, feels discomfort in having to write such things.
The Author, has been around a long time, and this is no hit piece. This is just the very hard, and ugly truth of things.
It was not an easy thing to read. Not only because of the actions of the Pope, but the utter confusion on Catholics face how to deal with the situation.
It has become such an ugly affair, that many just refuse to accept the possibility that these things are true.
Many others are struck to the heart, and are in great danger of loosing their faith.
