2 Kings 17:5-8, 13-15a, 18
In the time these writings were written, people believed that God is good, but also that he can do harm.
However, God does not harm anyone, nor does he encourage evil.
Matthew 7:1-5
"Remove the wooden beam from your eye first."
An interesting method for removing the plank from our eye is to identify the negative things we think and say, as well as what others say to us, and transform them into positive for the future.
Biblical texts: NAB-RE
Normand Thomas.
And why seest thou the mote that is in thy brother's eye; and seest not the beam that is in thy own eye?
Are you a Catholic?
@Normand Thomas I was asking for a reason. You post from various books, like the kjv. If a Catholic you should read The Holy Catholic Bible from before 1950. If not a Catholic then keep doing what you are doing. I wasn't being mean or sarcastic like others are on gtv. I wanted to to help you. As you know I have liked your posts before. GOD Bless you.
Sorry, I didn't see no question there.
Yes I'm catholic
My book serie is on Amazon.com
The Bible used is NAB-RE, But I don't put here my texts anymore.
These are the Homilies.
God Bless
