REUTERS IS UNETHICAL ON VATICAN COUNCIL II : FACTUAL AND OBJECTIVE ERROR
Today morning again I went to the Reuters office in Rome. Joshua McElwee was not available. The lady at the newsdesk said she could not answer questions and neither was there anyone else there. Joshua is the ‘Vaticanista’.
I said I was there to point out only one objective and factual mistake of Reuters in the interpretation of Vatican Council II.
She asked me if I wanted the e-mail number of Joshua. I said no. Since he does not respond to my e-mail enquiries. It is the same with the Holy See Press Office.
The objective mistake in the reports of Reuters is that they confuse LG 8, 14, 16, UR 3, NA 2, GS 22 etc as being objective and visible cases in the present times. This was their objective and factual error. I avoid this mistake in my reports on Vatican Council II.
Last year I reported on this issue: ‘Reuters is Unethical’ ( See below )
I also had informed Joshua McElwee about his reports on Vatican Council II written for the National Catholic Reporter. The NCR make the same mistake.
It is only because of the ignorance of the SSPX and the sedevacantists that Reuters and NCR etc have mileage, with false reports on the Council. The Council interpreted irrationally is now obsolete.- Lionel Andrades

REUTERS IS UNETHICAL
Ad Gentes 7 in Vatican Council II says all need faith and baptism for salvation while Lumen Gentium 8,14,16 etc are not explicit exceptions for AG 7 in 2025 and yet Reuters says Vatican Council II has changed the Church’s teachings on other religions. Vatican Council II supports the dogma extra ecclesiam nulla salus (EENS) with AG 7 and so there is no change in salvation- theology and ecclesiology in the Church, yet Reuters mentions a division in the Church between conservatives and liberals. From where did the liberalism come when the Council is traditional? You need a theology to create liberalism in the Church. For me in the graphics ‘the red is not an exception for the blue’ but for Reuters ‘the red is an exception for the blue’. So our conclusions are different.
Reuters is unethical. Since it is obvious that hypothetical cases (in red) cannot be objective exceptions for the orthodox passages ( in blue).
