Bishop in Missouri threatens to defund pro-life group over Michelle Malkin comment

Malkin: 'Catholic Church Mad with Me' About Book on Open Borders
Columnist Michelle Malkin says the Catholic Church is upset with her over her
latest book, www.amazon.com/…/1621579719, despite church officials not having read it yet.
In an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot’s Breitbart News Daily, Malkin said a Catholic bishop threatened to defund a pro-life organization after she gave a speech to the group where she mentioned church officials’ cozying up to radical leftist Saul Alinsky.
“I haven’t talked about this, so this is new, but the Catholic Church is already mad with me about this book and they haven’t even read it,” Malkin said. “I simply mention, very briefly, in a speech that I gave to a pro-life group in Missouri that I was writing this book and that it was no coincidence that there was an intersection between the very same types of radicals who hijacked the Catholic Church in Chicago who aligned themselves with Saul Alinksy — I mean, the man, not just the concepts …

I thought about posting today but I am so turned off by the decline in intelligent posters (even basic common sense would suffice) at GTV, I decided not to until I read your comment.
You are absolutely correct and Michelle is a VERY conservative and well spoken voice for the right. I suppose that one shouldn’t be surprised or underestimate the stupidity and outright slander that occurs daily at this website but there always seems to be some clown who shows up and manages to limbo a little bit lower on the scale of decency. 🙄
“I absolutely consider myself Catholic. Catholicism has had a profound influence on my work choices and it drives what I decide to do every morning,” said Malkin in an interview with the Catholic Herald, April 16, at the Wisconsin Center, where later that evening she spoke to about 900 people attending Wisconsin Right to Life’s annual dinner.
Faith and family helped shape her strong pro-life stance, she said, explaining, “the sanctity of life has definitely been one of those areas that has been a focus of much of my work and it’s not just a matter of faith for me.”

Awwww... :) GTV always has some worthwhile content, even if it's another "prayerful" post or a silly "duckie" political cartoon. Glad I managed to brighten your day somewhat, at least. It's a fair trade for all those fantastic links to YouTube disco. ;-) Besides, stupidity in others allows us to exercise the Christian virtue of charity.
I didn't want to give anyone hurt feelings with a brusque "Your Fallacy Is" post, but the Genetic Fallacy is very common among Catholics. Given the subject matter, Michelle Malkin's own religious views are irrelevant. Even if she was a rabidly pro-abortion atheist (and some exotic species of political conservatives are both), that doesn't discredit the validity of the material she digs up exposing the financiers of illegal immigration.
No real surprises the more leftist political elements of our much-beleaguered Church would use their influence against her.

@YokeAndArrows Even if all of that is true, it still doesn't contradict her expose. Similar info has been posted here before. This or that Jesuit (i.e. radical left-wing) group supporting "open borders". They've been meddling in world politics for an extremely long time, literally centuries.

Michelle Malkin is an apostate and a heretical Christian Zionist who has expressed contempt for the Church in the past. No one should bother paying attention to her.

Malkin, it's not the Church who is mad at you, but the Anti-Church, the Synagogue of George Soros!
