1 Corinthians 11:27-30
"Whenever you eat this Bread and drink this Cup, you proclaim His death, and so, whoever eats the Bread or drinks the Cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the Body and Blood of the Lord. Each one ought to examine himself before eating this Bread and drinking this Cup, for whoever eats and drinks without recognizing the Body eats and drinks his own condemnation. Indeed, that is why many of you are weak and sick, and some have even died."
Bishop Bejarano made headlines in 2024 when he presided over an “All Are Welcome” Mass for the LGBTQ community.
2 Timothy 4:3-4
"For the time will come when they will not listen to the sound doctrine, but having itching ears, will heap up for themselves teachers after their own lusts, and will turn away their ears from the truth, and turn away to fables."
Sentimental faith over sound shepherding. We should be led out of our sinfulness so we may divest ourselves of it, not cheered on for stubbornly clinging onto our broken natures.
