Malki Tzedek

Somewhat underwhelming since it serves more as a pleasant compliment to the Eastern rites for not ceding the beauty of the Mass of the Millennia as his predecessors have done and he continues to do/permit (eg. the recent letter from the bishop 'disallowing' kneeling for communion on the tongue, altar rails, the St. Michael prayer, etc.) One shouldn't wail about the gloomy state of affairs when the liturgical anemia is from self inflicted wounds.

Ave Crux

I'm hoping that the leaders of the Traditionalist communities -- and even Bishops and Cardinals in favor of the TLM -- will be able to use Pope Leo's own words to support their appeals.
I don't see how an honest man, let alone a Pope, could deny the import of what he has just said publicly about the beauty and necessity of the ancient rites to Holy Mother Church, and not apply it equally to the Traditional Latin Mass. Let's hope....!!!

Ave Crux

Now. let's pray Pope Leo hears the call of distress from the Traditionalists and also from Holy Mother Church Herself, deprived as She is of Her greatest Inheritance, and that he soon reverses the unjust suppression of the Mass of the Ages.
