Müller’s Statement On February 21, at Kath.Net, Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller 1[] commented on the decision of the Priestly Fraternity of Saint Pius X to proceed with episcopal Consecrations without a Pontifical Mandate, after the Prefect of the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith reiterated to the Superior General, Father Davide Pagliarani, the Holy See’s veto on granting the Mandate and its lack of openness to any revision of the texts of the Second Vatican Council, which the Society rightly considers heterodox.
