Cardinal Wuerl of Washington issues first major US pastoral plan on Amoris Laetitia. He appears to have made a conscious choice to chart a middle-course. I think the USCCB guidelines will take a similar view.

What a horror... We now have the triumph of Protestantism in the Catholic Church ...private conscience now trumps Church teaching on morality and even the Ten Commandments.
