Denied Rumour: Mass in Saint Peter’s Basilica in the Roman Rite in October

The Ad Petri Sedem pilgrimage in the Roman Rite will take place from October 23 to 25 in Rome.

There is conflicting reporting about whether a Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, October 24, in Saint Peter’s Basilica, similar to the one in 2025 celebrated by Cardinal Raymond Leo Burke.

The official program on Summorum-Pontificum.org for the 2026 pilgrimage lists a Pontifical Mass at the Altar of the Chair in Saint Peter’s Basilica.

However, the president of Foederatio Internationalis Una Voce, Joseph Shaw, denied the report on X on May 2, writing: “I am told by the organisers that this is not true. Please pray that it will become true.”

We all should make that day free in our agenda to go there to see cardinal Burke celebrating (?) the Mass.
There it should be, at least, possible. I suppose.

In the end, Burke voted for Prevost. Isn't it? I guess they are buddies now. A small favor for the controlled opposition occasionally, and when it suits the heads of the Comintern, is no problem. Card. Burke seems to be the true prototype of Trad.Inc

Conclave voting is secret and Burke isn’t a "Francis guy", so no, whatever vote he casted saying he voted for false prophet Leo is wrong.

It would be so devilishly charming for them to throw a bone to Burke after excommunicating SSPX. After all, everyone needs a token trad bishop

That's what I expect them to do: excommunicate the FSSPX and then throw a Latin Mass bone to the Trads and Trad, Inc. to buy their silence...all while unleashing more sodomites and greater acceptance for sodomy throughout the Church, with the Trads being forced to go along or lose their Latin Mass.
