You should pray the Rosary in Groups. This is why.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” Matthew 18:19-20
Let’s talk about Rosary group recitation, its benefits and why our souls need communal prayer to appease the anger of God, merit mercy and pay for our sins.

In Heaven, they praise Him unceasingly. The Heavenly court pray in common, night and day, the angels and the blessed unite to praise Him unceasingly.

Our Lord accompanies us when we are united in prayer.

“For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.” - Matthew 18:19-20

Yet, how can I start or find a group Rosary?

Family is the easiest place to start because natural charity already exists between kin, therefore, there is less resistance to unity. Set a time to join in prayer, when you have young children, it’s best to choose a time after a meal, for that is when they are most amiable.

For those who may not have family members at hand to pray with or divergent schedules conflict with gathering together. Explore church groups, oftentimes church bulletins announce when and where to unite in prayer.

We pray together not because we and everyone who joins us in prayer are perfect and errorless, but on the contrary, so that we convert. Just as Saint Dominic prayed with sinners and people in error (the albigensians), many times they converted.

“Jesus hearing this, saith to them: They that are well have no need of a physician, but they that are sick. For I came not to call the just, but sinners.” - Mark 2:17

Likewise, if it is more convenient, consider starting your own Rosary group.

Using technology as a spiritual tool

It is now possible to pray the Rosary together via live chats. Many different platforms exist now a days, helping us to unify in communal prayer. God is very pleased to have us gathered together in prayer.

The early church’s fellowship and communal prayer

Together, we are more resilient as related in Acts 2:42, “And they were persevering in the doctrine of the apostles, and in the communication of the breaking of bread, and in prayers.”

Come, come...

In as much as is possible, life on earth should be peaceful and full of grace, preparing us for the eternal peace promised to the elect.

When we pray together, the grace is multiplied by the number of participants present. This means that together, we are more agile in obtaining the answer to our petitions, the strong uphold the weak, and we have Jesus Christ in our midst! And all we have to do to have him with us is to come together to say the Rosary as a group.
