Schneider: "If We Formally Disobey Francis, We Obey The Church Of All Times"

Bishop Athanasius Schneider told RemnantNewspaper.com (12 October, video below) that he opposes Francis because the Church is "not a dictatorship".

"In a dictatorship, everyone is afraid to speak out because the dictator will suddenly punish you. But that should [sic!] not be the atmosphere in the Church," he said.

The bishop stressed that the current crisis over Catholic doctrine and the papacy was unique in the entire history of the Church. Not even the immoral Renaissance popes caused scandals by confusing doctrine.

Schneider sees "poor Francis" in a pitiable situation because he will have to answer to God one day "for leaving such a mess in the Church."

Therefore, he said, Francis' harmful orders should not be obeyed if they undermine the faith or take away the treasure of the liturgy: "Even if we would formally disobey, we will obey the whole Church of all times."

Schneider believes that canceled priests who oppose the dictatorship of Francis and his bishops cannot be fully independent and must have a superior. He thinks a priest can still join forces with a perhaps emeritus bishop, a traditional community or PiusX.

With all due respect, and without wanting to provoke, what this bishop says is utter nonsense: formal disobedience to the Pope constitutes a schism. What this good man does not seem to understand is that the conciliar authorities (all of them, from JXXIII onwards, not only Bergoglio), who promote modernist ecumenism -cf. interreligious meetings in Assisi, convened by the last three conciliar popes-, are not Catholic and, therefore, cannot enjoy true jurisdiction over the faithful, the conclusion is inevitable. It is absurd to think that in order to preserve the faith one must oppose the alleged Vicar of Christ, it is a position as absurd and untenable as it is contrary to Catholicism... - See: 1. Bp Schneider insists that each priest needs to have a superior, otherwise it is not Catholic and danger that he becomes a sort of "guru" or his own pope. Insists that priests who disobey for sake of TLM seek a superior, even a retired bishop or SSPX who supervises him.

Sally D we have to pray and sacrifice for all the Catholics who have been led into mortal sin (including sacrilegious communion) by the heresies, blasphemies and scandalous Pachamama worshipping of Jorge Bergoglio. And this situation with the apostate on the Chair of Peter screams out for an Imperfect Council to be covened to investigate all of the potential canonical breaches in the process of Jorge coming to the Chair....including the fact that he was a heretic long before he was elected.

Bishop Athanasius Schneider being a Catholic of good will, wants the SSPX to be in full communion with the Mystical Body of our Lord Jesus-Christ. That's understandable but when the faithful Cardinals and Bishops will abandon Francis the traitor, then the Great Schism will be completely effective for all the diocesan ''bishops'' that will remain with Francis and the SSPX will have the opportunity to join the Catholic Church. @Chat Chartreux
