Most modern Catholics would not accept the Baltimore Catechism if they were exposed to it today.

Boston was bankrupt and a Jewish man was helping the archdiocese. He was the brother-in-law of the Cardinal.

Father Feeney was not excommunicated for heresy. He was excommunicated because he boldly spoke the Truth, (much like Archbishop Vigano) especially about the Jews. But the Jewish press calumniated him savagely until almost all Catholics believed in the heresy of Baptism of Desire and universal salvation.

@spinmeister As your brother in Christ, be careful, Baptism of desire and Baptism of Blood is NOT a reference to three different baptisms, the two point back to the one. You are using the same logic as the anti-trinitarians, they cannot fathom 3 person as one God.
The "good thief" on the cross was not baptized, yet that day he was with our Lord in paradise. If you can prove that the Church teaches something contrary to what the Baltimore Catechism then it falls up you to provide that evidence. If you can not, you have put yourself in opposition to the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Regarding the necessity for Sacramental Baptism: in the case of Dismas
"As yet the Spirit had not been given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.” John 7: 39. This verse seems to indicate that sacramental baptism would not arrive until after the Resurrection....
Jesus parting words before His Ascension:
reference to the institution of the sacrament of baptism is found in the words of the great commission given by Jesus after the Resurrection:
‘All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, to the close of the age’” (Matt. 28:16-20).
Another point to consider is that “paradise” does not mean “heaven.” As stated above, the term refers to the abode of the blessed dead, but that wasn’t quite heaven yet, since Jesus had not opened its gates.

@LatinRiteMass: The Church teaches that "There is no Salvation Outside the Church." That would render "Baptism of Desire" heretical.

Jesus answered: Amen, amen I say to thee, unless a man be born again of water and the Holy Ghost, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

7 But I tell you the truth: it is expedient to you that I go: for if I go not, the Paraclete will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.
John 16:7.
Baptism could not exist as a Sacrament until Jesus sent the Holy Spirit at Pentecost, which is the Birthday of the Church. Therefore, it was not necessary that Dismas be Baptised. It didn't become a necessity until the Holy Spirit was sent.

The question How Many Kinds of Baptism are there?
There are three kinds: Water, Desire, and Blood.
Is NOT, nor has it ever been, a teaching of the Catholic Church. "I believe in ONE Baptism for the forgiveness of sins." The liberal authors of the Catechism heretically inserted their own personal opinion here which is contrary to the solemnly and infallibly declared doctrine of the Church.
