2025: Two Catholic parishes in Graz received the Rainbow Pastoral Ministry’s “accepting and open” (a+o) certification after a program that included Out in Church, rainbow pastoral activities and a “queer Way of the Cross.” The project received diocesan financial support.
2025: An interreligious ceremony was held inside Graz Cathedral with Bishop Krautwaschl, Muslim representatives and other religious leaders. The gathering included texts from both the Bible and Quran. Krautwaschl called on those present to “go together into the future.”
2026: The Diocese of Graz-Seckau again publicized the ecumenical homosexual service connected to the local homosexual march. It was that people “in their diversity are welcome.”
