Cardinal Dolan: “Priests MUST Take Vaccine”

There is allegedly "no basis" for a priest to issue a religious exemption for the vaccine, writes John Cahill, the chancellor of New York Archdiocese, in a July 30 memorandum to the priests.

New York Archdiocese is led by Cardinal Dolan. Cahill is the first lay chancellor. The memorandum mentions moral objections against Covid vaccinations because they are related to abortion what is, as he observes “particularly acute” among pro-lifers and Catholics “very loyal" (sic!) to the teaching of the faith.

However, he dismisses all rational arguments by insisting on Francis' doubtful authority who claimed that taking any of the vaccines was "morally acceptable" and that Cardinal Dolan reckons the same.

Likely noticing the poor quality of his argument, he supports it with a threat suggesting that spreading the virus “might impose personal liability on the priest” - although we are told that vaccinated people may pass on the coronavirus.

Jorge Bergoglio, along with cardinals & bishops like Dolan look more like diabolical clowns with every passing day.
How ever do they think that real Catholics will take them seriously when they issue directives like this.
The modernist clerics & hierarchy have become an extraordinary source of scandal in so many ways in both heretical teachings & sinful behaviour.
I am with God, His unchangeable teachings and 10 Commandments.
In God I trust!!!
In heretics I do not trust....not one bit!!!
Let us stick with & support the priests who are faithful to the teachings of Christ.

I am a priest. I will never take the vaccine. I tell everybody I meet that they are not morally obligated to take the fruit-of-infanticide “vaccine”. No soul is obliged to obey an unjust order. And bishops like Cardinal Dolan have reduced themselves to being “funded” ( paid ) employees of anti-Christian governments. Paid by the state to slap out prophetic priests and to cooperate with evil government authority, they have cheapened the Apostolic Office. In what age is this when the Apostles are the ones who wage war against Christ ?

The apocalyptic “uncharted territory” of today is that the worldly church has melded to the world.

I think that priests of the Archdiocese of New York, and many others in the near future, will have to think about leaving public ministry, even if it means losing their home and income. I’m sure that this directive violates the conscences of many of them.

Did I miss something? The title of the article says that priests in the New York City archdiocese must take the vaccine, but I didn't see that in the article itself.
