Two Prelates 'Deny' Involvement in Attempts to Bann Holy Mass
Rumors of the document have been circulating since June. It has been sitting in Vatican drawers since late 2021, but Francis allegedly refused to sign it.
The two prelates and Cardinal Parolin, Secretary of State, were named by RemnantNewspaper.com, as being the three main aides in drafting the document against the Mass. The document is believed to be being written by Archbishop Vittorio Francesco Viola, Secretary of the Congregation for the Liturgy.
Monsignor Migliore is notorious for his stance against Holy Mass in France.
The two were accused of supporting, assisting or encouraging Archbishop Vittoria Viola to prepare another document against Holy Mass.
Archbishop Migliore commented: "Short question, short answer: these are conjectures, to say the least, fanciful."
Cardinal Gugerotti's private secretary was more evasive: "In this regard, I would like to inform you that no information appears on the subject to which you refer."
Parolin, the main culprit, did not respond.
